Toggle feature to lock/unlock appointments on calendar
For those of us with touch screens it can be too easy to accidentally move an appointment and not even realize it. It would be nice to have a feature in the "preferences" section that allows users to lock appointments in place that can be enabled/disabled at any time.

Calendar items deleted in Outlook should be deleted in Redtail (optional)
We have a team approach to client service and multiple people doing calendaring for others. Outlook is the primary place this calendaring happens, because not all of these people need redatil access and Outlook 365 is ingrained in everyones current workflow. We need items to be deleted from the redtail calendar when they are deleted from outlook. I realize some folks may not want that functionality, but it needs to be an option that can be turned on for those of us who do want it.

Right Click on Calendar Activities to Open them in a new Tab
When viewing the calendar in day or week view, it would be great to be able to right click on a specific appointment and open that Activity in a new tab. This way we can keep the calendar view up and uninterrupted, but also be able to view the details of the activity by simply taking us a to a new tab.

Filter client reviews and birthdays by user
Client reviews and birthdays are currently showing up for EVERYONE in the calendar, even if only "Me" is selected in the user filters. It becomes really cumbersome to try and weed through all the reminders and reviews in the calendar when you're looking at 12+ advisors' review dates. It would be really great to be able to filter these reminders out by user so servicing advisors only see reviews and birthdays assigned to their clients. Customization of Holidays
I see Redtail just added the new Holidays functionality to the calendar.
I good start, but it's still weak.Each December, I add all the holidays for the next year to our calendar.
If there was a way to manually added “our” holidays to the ones you have in there (and possibly remove some of “your” holidays that we don’t want) that would be a good enhancement.

Thanks for adding Federal Holidays to the Calendar. However...
Please give us the option of where the holiday displays on the calendar. Currently it is in the All Day activity section which is typically crowded with our other task items. It would be nice to at least have the OPTION of having the holiday displayed on the timed calendar section. Maybe just a little banner between the all day activities and the timed section? Or you could even lightly color the whole day (maybe a light grey?) like you currently do for "today" in yellow.

Be able to Assign colors on the Calendar by Name of the person completing task
Color code the calendar by being able to assign a color to each person in the office. That way when you are looking at the calendar each person has their own color for their own task

seeing selected people in separate columns on the calendar day view.
On the day view of the calendar, seeing the selected people in separated columns, when you have an office with many meeting rooms and people taking appts it would be extremely helpful.

Linking documents to calendar events
Ability to link specific documents to calendar events/tasks.
Ability to link additional Notes from the client profile(s) to calendar events/tasks that are relevant.If a calendar event is not created FROM the Notes pages at the time the Note is added to the client profile, there seems to be no way to link specific notes to the calendar event once the note has been saved.

Calendar - Block users from deleting activities that were created by other users
Whether by mistake or otherwise, there should be a control in place that blocks users from deleting an activity unless created by that user. We had an instance this morning that as someone was adding notes to an appointment, they deleted the entire meeting and didn't realize they deleted it. This could cause major issues if an appointment disappears and clients walk in. Thank you!

There needs to a feature that allows a birthday reminder to appear on certain user calendars. This allows for offices with one database to assign birthday client reminders to different teams

Calendar reminder function
Calendar entries should have an option to alert multiple ways the user. For instance, a 15-minute alert before a phone call or other task. Important here is there needs to be MULTIPLE ways to alert. The alarm bell in the browser is woefully inadequate. An email reminder would be great, as email notifications get more attention by default. Or some other kind of prominent alarm (that must be dismissed, so harder to miss).
