  1. My Workflow Tasks Page - Task Hyperlink Should Open Task

    When you are on the "My Workflow Tasks" page, you can see of the tasks assigned to you. However, when you click an individual task you are taken to that workflow.

    Instead, the task pop-up screen should appear, so that you can quickly update multiple tasks assigned to you in multiple workflows at one time.

    Seems like how the link would obviously work.

  2. Creation Date and Update Dates for Workflows

    I would like a date of creation (born?) for each workflow AND a date that workflow has been changed or updated.

    Meaning; not the date it is created and assigned to a contact, the actual date of creation of the entire workflow. Additionally, if I change the workflow at some point there is an updated workflow date on the page.

  3. uncomplete entire workflow

    Closely related to uncomplete workflow steps, but I don't want to assume this improvement is included in that effort. Sometimes the accidentally completed step marks the entire workflow complete. We should be able to uncomplete that final step or at least go to the list of completed workflows and uncomplete the workflow there.

  4. Add "On Creation Date" to the Step Due in a workflow Step.

    When you create a workflow, you are given the option of setting the Target Date a some point "After Creation Date". So, if you set it to 0 days after creation date, the workflow sets the target date as today. HOWEVER, if you set it up that way and then use automation to trigger it, and that automation triggers when an activity is set and the condition is appointment, EVEN THOUGH the workflow target date is set for today, the workflow target date is set at the future appointment date.

    This makes it impossible to have a workflow automatically trigger…

  5. Rerouting workflow once completed

    Rerouting to users active workflow list once you have completed workflow. When you select a workflow and you can see steps/complete steps, once you have completed workflow the page refreshes and just shows the workflow task list completed. It would be nice to re route to workflow list instead of showing you the list of tasks the user already completed.

  6. Workflows should indicate who started them - similarly to Activities

    If I am assigned a workflow and have questions on it, I have to go around and ask who started it. If RedTail indicated who started the workflow like they do for activities, I would be able to go right to the source.

  7. Under Workflow Steps - Where the "Mail Merge" Option is, there should be an "E-Mail Merge" as an option

    When establishing a workflow Step, it asks if you want to do a "Mail Merge". You should also be able to choose to do an E-mail Merge from a template.

  8. Workflow Summary Notes

    My team would really like to be able to export the summary notes for a workflow or be able to directly print them, this way we can use them in meetings away from the office or attach them to reports, and currently it doesn't seem there is any way to capture that data without copying and pasting it all into a word document.

    It would also be nice to change the category of each step note as it is added or change a step category rather than only being able to change the category of a workflow, as some workflows…

  9. Bulk Complete Workflow

    I can currently bulk delete and add workflows and add notes or tag groups to groups of people in a workflow. However, I cannot bulk complete a workflow step or a workflow task. We have workflow tasks that can be completed in bulk by adding tag groups. It would be wonderful if we could then bulk complete that task and step.

  10. Make the top part of a workflow searchable in notes.

    We store particular details about each workflow at the top part of the workflow. For example, if a client needs cash, we start a workflow to send them cash. At the top of the workflow we put information about what account the cash needs to come from, amounts, etc. We want the top part of the workflow with all that information searchable in the "notes" section once the workflow is complete.

  11. Workflow step instructions/notes

    I use workflows to make sure that I go through a consistent process of inputting the details of an account when it first downloads in the program. I click on the workflow tab on the left (not from the box on the home screen) and it then on the client's name and it shows me the single workflow I have open (that itself has multiple steps). I do not click into the workflow further from there but instead hit the pull down and mark each step complete. In that particular screen, I would love to have, above the note section,…

  12. Confetti when workflows are completed

    A fun suggestion that my office and I had was when someone completed a workflow a little confetti burst came across the screen after you clicked the complete button. It always feels so good to complete a task/workflow that we thought having some confetti fly across the screen would be really fun.

  13. When you back space under work flows it should go back to where you just were so you don't have to scroll back to where you just were.

    In a team meeting we review all workflows and if we have to click inside of a workflow and then go back to the list after reviewing it in more detail. It always takes us back to the very first workflow item so if we are all the way down the list we then have to scroll back down to where we just were. Would be helpful that if you back space to return back to the workflow item we were just reviewing.

  14. Add the ability to add Notes to a step without completing it

    At this time, the only way to communicate with EVERYONE associated with a Step is to complete the current Step, add notes in the window that pops up, and have an outcome that recycles back to the current Step. This means that all of the Tasks within the Step that have already been completed are refreshed.

    We should be able to put in Notes on a step that can be shared with everyone without having to redo work all over again (or at least assign work all over again).

  15. Workflow linked to contacts

    While in a workflow, I want to be able to use the "+" button to start another workflow and the new workflow be connected to the same client. We are accidentally starting workflows from within existing workflows and those new workflows aren't connected to any contact.

  17. workflow/Task (Option to hide completed tasks)

    It would be really great if we had the option to HIDE tasks that are already completed under a workflow for a specific contact. I have workflows that have over 20 plus tasks and many of them are complete. It would be helpful to have a button to hide the complete ones so you can see which ones are still outstanding that need to be worked on under that workflow. Gets a little busy on the eyes with that many tasks clogging up the screen.

  19. Dynamic Workflow Due Dates

    In the old iteration of Redtail, the workflow due dates were dynamic and referenced when the previous task was finished. Right now, if one step is delayed for any reason, the next step in the workflow can be due in the past. This doesn't make any sense. Please include the options to have the time period in which they are due, reference when the previous task is completed.

  20. Workflows on Frequency

    Need workflows that repeat on a regular frequency - i.e. quarterly, monthly, semi-annually - we run reports for our clients quarterly and with the system the way it is today - these need to be added manually every quarter
