dont delete activity when multiple users are in same activity
I am baffled that I was told this is not a glitch. But, when two users are updating one task simultaneously, one of them will simply be ignored, and none of their new data will be captured in the task. they will have no idea the task was not updated unless they quality control every item and spend an hour each day making sure redtail did capture what redtail was supposed to capture. see ticket 992803 for background if you want

Toggle feature to lock/unlock appointments on calendar
For those of us with touch screens it can be too easy to accidentally move an appointment and not even realize it. It would be nice to have a feature in the "preferences" section that allows users to lock appointments in place that can be enabled/disabled at any time.

Ability to Re-Organize Menu
It would be great to be able to re-organize the menu list on the left side. Especially when we are in a contact to be able to organize them by our most used tabs would be convenient.

tax bracket
The CFP Board and many states require Financial planners to collect Net worth, tax bracket and income for all clients before advising them. When I am audited by the state, I am required to provide them with a list of all my clients and these items. Redtail has the Estimated tax bracket field, but it doesn't allow us to run a report on this field. It would be helpful to be able to pull this info since its easy to remember to put in there. Alerts for Schedule Appointments
It would be super helpful if we had the option to add an "alarm" or "alert" to a schedule appointment. As we all know, sometimes our days become extremely busy and we might miss a thing or two. If we had the option to add and alarm or alert to an appointment that we schedule in the calendar, and we could set the timing of the alert (ie 5 minutes before the meeting takes place) to pop up and remind the user that is attached to the appointment, I think that less things will be missed.

Should be able to notify more than just one user when imputing a new note
When adding a note, you can only notify one user about that note. Should be able to notify multiple users.

Sync Department Email History
Sync department emails to email history. This will provide better organization and cleaner data so vendor "contact card" does not get filled with individual department emails and correspondence within individual department contacts sync with email history within the vendor contact record.

Being able to import contacts ourselves
Seems like an unnecessary added step to have to send in to Redtail for implementation. Wouldn't it be more efficient to allow the client to import a bulk upload to manage themselves?

Add Client Review Automation trigger event
It would be very helpful if an activity was automatically created for client reviews so that we can track, follow up, make notes, postpone ect... Currently, we have to manually input the review after checking the know your client section.

In the family tree, the trust needs to able to be added as a bene.

Group Activities Together/"Umbrella" Activities
I would like to group activities together. Meaning, if the "umbrella" activity is to evaluate insurance coverage, I would like to have sub-activities for the individual insurance policies to evaluate. We have a client who is considering long-term care coverage and there are several insurance policies that could be combined to do so, but there are action items associated with each. If I would put those individual activities under an "umbrella" activity it would allow our team to be better organized. View all contacts in a generated report instead of only 50 at a time with multiple pages
When you create a client report you can only view 50 contacts at a time with multiple page tabs. Instead it would be easier to view all contacts that fall into that report made.

Household
Wed like to have the ability to capture and reference data under the HOUSEHOLD name/title (Ex. James & Virgina Smith) - - - with all the contacts info, notes, documents, etc able to be STORED & ACCESSED under that combined title. Ideally you could introduce the OPTION of storing data at the individual level - - - by clicking on the individual within the household. But otherwise, its maintained collectively/centrally - - - within the household.
It would also be helpful to see LINKED/associated contacts (Ex CPAS & ATTYS) on the home page - - - in addition to DEPENDANTS.

Reports > Contacts > No Contact > Add Writing Advisor Filed
We have 14 Financial Advisors... so this report is useless without knowing which client is serviced by whom. It would work much better if we could filter by writing Advisor.

Automation within a workflow based on outcome
It would be helpful to setup automations based on a separate workflow outcome. For instance, we have an automation setup that starts our new client workflow whenever the contact is changed from prospect to client. Within that new client workflow, there is a step asking if the client signed up for full financial planning. If yes, there should be a way to automatically trigger our financial planning workflow.

eMoney Observations and Next Steps in Redtail
It would be great to be able to see the Observations and Next Steps section for the eMoney software in our redtail platform. We use the Observations section for our high-level finanacial planning recommendations. Further, we use the Next Steps to list action items for both the client and advisor to complete. It would be great to see these two sections on the client card, especially right before our advisors make a call to the client in order to be abreast of their planning status.

Ability to Convert Guests in Seminar to a Contact
When we host a client event, we utilize seminars in Redtail. We invite both guests and clients, with the hope that some of the guests become clients of the firm. It would be great to have the guests automatically added as a contact, or possibly have the ability to select which guests you would like to convert to a contact in Redtail.
