  1. Notes

    I would like to add a document to my notes and be able to go back and view it. I would also like to add additional information to an existing note and be able to see it. (show the comments) Thank you.

  2. Linking names in a note to their redtail profile without copying the note

    When writing a note in Mr. Smiths redtail (for example), and I mention Mr. Jones in that note I would like to be able to link Mr. Jones redtail profile to his name without copying the actual note about Mr. Smith into Mr. Jones redtail. Like on social media, if you mention someone in your comment their name creates a hyperlink and if you click on the name it takes you to their profile. I hope that makes sense. Thank you

  3. Add contact info into the note reports

    When printing out note reports, you should also be able to see their contact info such as their phone number and email at the top. Currently it has their name, date note was added on, account, category, type, and added by. The phone number and email of the person should also be included in that section.

  4. Link an existing note to a contact.

    Be able to link an existing note to a contact. We have discovered after completing a note in one contact that we needed to link, not copy, the note to another contact.

  6. copy note

    When copying a client note to another client or entity (trust/business), the time stamp from the original note should carry over to the copied version. That will help compliance-wise and ease confusion.

  7. Add more than one activity templates to bottom on note page

    LOVE how you've added the ACTIVITY TEMPLATE to the bottom of NOTES when we click "create followup activity" - However, could you add the option of up to 5 activity templates? In our office, 1 note will generate several activities from that one note. We'd love the option of more than one. Thank you

  8. Viewing either linked notes or linked documents on completed activities

    After an activity is completed, you should be able to see either linked notes or linked documents on the completed activity without going into the activity or having the note in a different "box." Anything relating to that activity should be easily viewed within the box, even if it has a paper clip or a pdf icon on the summary screen indicating that there is either linked notes or a linked document.

  9. It would be nice to have a way to record notes that aren't tied to a specific contact.

    It would be nice to be able to add a note that is not tied to a contact.

  10. linked notes to multiple activities

    Please add the ability to link a note or notes to multiple Activities. Sometimes when logging a client email or other correspondence, phone call, letter, etc. that conversation with the client covers three tasks/activities being worked on. Rather than having it linked to just ONE activity, I'd like to be able to link it to all activities that may be covered - usually service activity oriented. Right now I have to put the same note in three times if it covers three activities (copy & paste), then it shows up three times in the notes screen.

  11. Add filter to Recently Added Notes (Notes Dashborad) and Latest Notes on Contact Page

    Redtail currently has the ability to use filters on the Contact Notes page, but I would like to be able to use the same filter on the Recently Added Notes/Notes Dashboard page and the Latest Notes section on a Contact's page. Both of those places show the completed activities mixed in with the notes and it gets very convoluted. Some important notes get lost in the shuffle if there are many completed activities.

  12. Once a step is completed it would be nice to be able to add another step note if something was forgotten or incorrect.

    In the note pop up add another option for a "new" note in addition to close window.

  13. Multiple Activities to notes

    When there are multiple activities linked to one note we can see the link leading to the activities, reading something like "2 Activities Linked". But when you click on the link to go to the activities it just brings you to the oldest outstanding activity. Is there a feature you can add with some sort of drop down attached to that link so you can jump to the specific activity rather than directing you to the longest outstanding activity?

    When you are looking at notes and in the bottom right corner it shows the linked activity, you should be able to click on that activity and have it go to that activi

  15. Workflow notes should be included in general Notes

    It's absurd that notes attached to a step or task in a workflow don't (also) appear in the general Notes of a contact record.

  16. Allow users to put a post-it note on clients' "home page" for info like "John Doe is POA" or "Email hacked on 10/31/19".

    We need an easy way to see important or timely information immediately when pulling up a client. You may not know if someone else in the office needs to talk to a client or schedule a review and wouldn't necessarily go through all of the Notes. A Post-It note would immediately get your attention and could be moved to the side of the screen if not needed. And it could be deleted when no longer needed.

  17. tagging contact in notes with @ sign or some other way

    I'd like to see a way to link another contact in someone's notes...example.
    "Nancy called today and told me to call her brother @Robert Killian. He just retired and is looking for help."
    Then Robert Killian is a hyperlink to click on to go directly to his contact record.

  18. Set a Note Category as default view in filters instead of just Note Type

    Its Great that we now can default what the note Type is in the CRM from the preferences but I would like to see the ability to also do this for the Note Categories as well instead of just the Note Types.

  19. Notes report needs to be alphabetized by last name, and not first name. We do everything by last name.

    When we print the notes report, we like to have it printed in alphabetical order by last names, not first names. Could you go back to using that method please?

  20. note preview e-mail

    When we receive the "A new note has been added" e-mail, it would be helpful if the text of the note was included in the body of that e-mail, such as it is when we receive these notifications for activities.

    As it stands, we have to click through a link to log in and view the note. This complicates the flow of communication when we use the feature to notify another user of a note - if they could simply read the note in their notification e-mail, it would save a few steps.
