print note history
The good point to keep notes in the client file is to save on paper and keep all the notes in once place. However, it would be nice to have the option to select and print out more than one note at a time if needed. To expand on that, the ability to print out the whole note history if needed. The option to only print out one note at a time is helpful, but if more than one is needed, the option to do that should be made available as well. Thank you for your consideration.

Add COMMENTS to NOTES on Today tab
When opening Today tab, everyone is able to see the Notes all team members have entered recently. We also need to see the COMMENTS added to Notes -- they are often just as important or more important than the initial note itself.
Working remotely, we need to see all updates and conversations going on. This would really help to see the comments since that is where updating is being entered. Put them in the tally graph as well. They are truly all Notes!

Add to Notes Follow Up
In the notes section of a contact, there is a box to allow you to Create a Follow-Up Activity. I would like a box for Create an Opportunity. Often after a discovery meeting or review, you will find new assets.

When working on a note, it's frustrating not to be able to see the contact details from the overview page. It would be very handy to be able to set a preference where we could "expand all notes" on the front overview section page of a client the same way the notes appear under the note tab.

NOTES SECTION - COLLAPSED VIEW !!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE, restore the previous view in NOTES section in order to see past notes/activities. We shouldn't have to click the 3 dots in order to see the notes, or at least give your users, also know as your customers, the ability to choose whether we want to see things one way or another. At this point, it is important enough for my business for us to start considering other CRM systems. Instead of making improvements, Redtails goes back in capabilities/functionality.

When reviewing notes, add the ability to view the names of the parties that are selected in "Notify User" or "Notify Team" after the note is posted. Currently, you can't look back to see who was notified once the comment is saved. It would also be nice if the email notification from Redtail included all names of persons copied on the note.

Audit History for Editing Notes
Notes could use an audit history to track edits made. Right now there is no way to edit notes because of compliance and it actually makes it harder to be compliant. Instead, people take handwritten notes or use the important information area in Redtail for notes. If people do make notes, they do not always realize they cannot edit and will keep copying and pasting new notes until their note is final. People do not read the comments and don't want to make a comment for a change in a field that was in a note template.

Offer Option to Alert / *Notify Select Users When Adding a *Comment to a Note*
Please Offer the Option to Alert / Notify Specific Users When Adding a Comment to an Existing Note
We would love to utilize the "Comment" feature more on RedTail. It makes sense to keep all notes/remarks/follow-up on a particular subject organized together in one thread.
However, because users do not currently receive notifications for comments added to existing notes, it is *Highly Unlikely that they will Actually See the new information that has been added to said thread.

Please make it so we can REORDER notes and edit the date of them!
I often have to add in older notes but there is currently no way to reorder these older notes to appear in the correct order. It would also be helpful to edit the date of the note when I have to add an earlier date at a later time.

compliance
We would like the ability for our compliance department to have limited access to our notes within a contact. Example would be within the note template category named compliance. Then the compliance department can review only those notes that have the category tagged as Compliance and not other notes or activities within the Contact

Default the font of choice
I would like to be able to choose a font as a default instead of having to change the font each time I add a note.

Family Notes Showing Duplicates
When you either (A.) Copy a note to a client or (B.) Link the note originally to a client's spouse or other party. When displaying "Family Notes" it shows duplicates. It would be helpful if it did not do that.

From app add more than 1 contact to a note
Very frequently notes would apply to multiple contacts most commonly spouses. The desktop version handles this just fine, but from the app it is impossible to have more than 1 contact linked to the note. for now that means I make the note then go to the note and copy and paste to the spouse.

Add the ability to insert a linked note while in an activity in the mobile app.

link notes to calendar
I know you can link notes to calendar from within the activity; however sometimes a note may have been created first! When this happens, we should be able to then link it to the activity. It's not practical that I will always be adding the activity first and then the note. Should be able to do it both ways.

Random Notes in One Place
On the homepage, create a place that has just one blank page or blank pages with tabs (kind of like Microsoft One Notes) where you can just put random notes to type whatever with just a click of a button.
This is good when you are on a call with a client and let's say they wanted the email address for TD Ameritrade's customer service and Fidelity... You have that info on one page so it's easily accessible.
This would be quicker than having to look up TD Ameritrade, then Fidelity, it can be slow to upload... so One Page…6 votes -
Please add an action under the notes to tag a team member after the note has been posted
After a note is entered, we should be able to go back and tag team members instead of writing a whole new note.

seperate texts from Client Notes
Clients texts and Notes should be under separate tabs.
