search calendar
It would be incredibly helpful to be able to search the calendar for open appointment times. It's very tedious to search for open times when on the phone with a client. If I could, for example, search for all open 90 minute appointment times it would be so much quicker to schedule clients. Often times I have to tell a client I will call them back because it takes so long to look through each week to find something.

Color code or allow hiding of completed workflow tasks so I can tell, with a glance, which workflow tasks need my attention.

Adjust the "Repeat Ends" Calendar Date for Repeating Activities
When a recurring activity is set and the "repeat ends" is selected, the calendar jumps to today. It should jump to the date of the activity.
For example, when I set up an event for next year, I have to scroll through a year of the calendar to get to the end date for the recurring event. It logically should pop up starting with that future date.

Mobile Calendar not displaying activity over multiple days correctly
On my desktop I can see that a team member has an all day vacation activity set up for the date range 6/14-6/23. When I look at my mobile calendar I am only seeing an All Day vacation note for the first day and then nothing to indicate his vacation on the following days. This should be showing up for each day that is in the range of the original activity. It is confusing to not show this for each day that he is out on vacation.

Add a feature to hover over the event on the calendar to then "Save & Complete", "Delete", etc. so you don't have to click into the event to do that.

Tag out of office meetings/appointments
Create a field under activity details to mark a meeting as "Out of office" so staff knows the meeting is not in the office.

Adding a "user" field to the calendar preference section
Adding the option to set your calendar preferences so it defaults to specific users instead of showing all users.

Send invite to contact when scheduling an appointment
Most programs today allow you to send in invite to the contact you have schedule some type of appointment with to add it to their calendar and accept or decline it. Why doesn't Redtail do this?

Keep default settings in Calendar for Users and Types
After clearing cache and cookies for Google browser, the Users and Types reverts back to "All," despite that I only use certain of those.
Keep those setting defaults to the ones I've chosen so I'm not having to reselect all of those each time browser settings are cleared.9 votes -
Calendar Update Notifications
When a calendar activity has been assigned to a team member they are notified via email. When the activity has been deleted/removed from the calendar, the tagged attendees are not notified of the deletion and now opening in their calendar. This would be a helpful use of the calendar system.

Web mail calendar sync with regular redtail calendar
I would like to suggest that Redtail coordinates the Redtail web mail calendar with the regular Redtail calendar. If you could sync those two calendars together that way I wouldn't have to manually transfer my web mail calendar appointments into the Redtail calendar

Calendly Integration
Calendly Integration is needed more than ever with Coronavirus and clients and prospects not being able to come into the office. This should be a top priority.

Provide a link to client to schedule a meeting during a block of time on calendar
Allows us to create a link to send out to multiple clients allowing them to choose a time slot during a specific period of time to schedule a meeting. Once selected that time slot would disappear from the options to the other clients.

Integrate with third party calendars including Woven and Fantastical 2
Woven is a relatively new third party calendar that offers many features that other calendars don't have. Woven will also combine both Microsoft 365 and Google calendars, but has trouble once RT is added. Fantastical 2 is a very user-friendly calendar that is google-based.
It would seem logical for RT to integrate with third party calendars since these companies often specialize and therefore offer more features and convenience than RT can provide.

Ability to create "Users" for scheduling purposes only.
We have had to create full Users in Redtail for blocking off our conference rooms for appointments, an employee "out of office" time block, etc. and it would be beneficial to be able to have these Users that aren't actually "Users" or have their own logins. We have over 90 "Users" in our database and some of these are only for scheduling purposes and shouldn't have to be added to our billed number of Users (I believe the monthly price increases every 30+ Users).
