EMAIL archive needs to be in real time to serve sales team not just service team
the email history needs to be in real time rather than 24 hour delay.... a delay like this is fine if you have already earned the account, just coasting, where my customer service person or myself might be leisurely floating though the accounts seeing who we can bless today but in a firefight, with another firm, trying to earn the account, the sales team needs to know closer to real time what was said and by who in email. Notes are in real time and no one questions why thats important so seriously, lets get this email archive current so…

BCC in Email History
It would be really nice if when sending an email to clients using BCC these emails show up in the client's email history.

ability to delete emails
We would like the ability to delete emails from the client record. There are non-business emails as well as confidential emails to management that should not be available for others to view. We have an employee who is also a client and all their emails are visible in redtail and should not.

Allow more than one attachment when using internal email
Right now you can only attach ONE attachment. We should be able to attach multiple attachments when we are sending emails using internal email.

be able to move emails to specific contacts
Be able to move emails to specific contacts -- for example -- i email the trading desk saying buy or sell -- they email me back saying trades completed -- I should be able to move those emails to the client record

Please add the feature to archive the emails that are sent out through Marketing Central like they used to in C2C through FMG Suite before the changeover.

be able to HTML email code.
We were previously able to code email's instead of simply typing into the body of the email. It was taken away for an unexplained reason. It was an incredibly helpful feature.

Add feature to search archived emails by "to" field or "from" field
Currently email archiving only allows for searching off of contact or subject field. We really need to be able to also search off of "to" or "from" field.

Pull in both spouses' email addresses with email templates
We always communicate with both spouses via email and right now to use an email template, you first have to go to one spouse's record, copy their email, and then go to the other spouse's record to send the email template. It would be great if Redtail could pull in the spouse's email with a button, sort of like how you can use ##SpouseFirstname##.

Group Access to Email history
Since Redtail can divide access to contacts by "group" level, it would be nice if everyone in the same "group" could see all emails to and from clients in their "group". This way an admin would be able to see a complete history of emails for a client, no matter who sent the email.

making emails private
Would like be able to make an email 'private' so only the recipient gets to view its contents.
I can't believe such a feature doesn't already exist in this software, especially considering security requirements we must follow.

Sync Department Email History
Sync department emails to email history. This will provide better organization and cleaner data so vendor "contact card" does not get filled with individual department emails and correspondence within individual department contacts sync with email history within the vendor contact record.

Clickable in Email
When a notification is emailed, it should have a corresponding link in the email to click to take you directly to the task/activity.

Provide archiving rules and exemptions with compliance filtering
We like having the ability to see emails sent from all advisors to any client, however there is no way to exempt our spam emails, or filter out internal staff emails that should be kept private. We've deleted our emails from contact records, but b/c they are tied to our user profiles, they still filter in. The email history is filtered with junk email and multiple threads of the same message when multiple users are CC'd. My CCO is still using Global Relay for compliance b/c there's nothing to help filter for a keyword or other parameters that are essential.…

Tracking Redtail CRM in Outlook
Hello, is it possible to set up manual tracking for Redtail contacts in outlook? For example, if you send an email to or about a client can we add a "Set Regarding" button option to look up the client in Redtail and link it to the email. Once it has been tracked, we should be able to see it within the client record of Redtail.

Add autocomplete for email addresses to CC emails sent from within the CRM
the To: field autocompletes based on contacts in the database but the CC field requires you to manually enter each email address. It would be nice if this autocompleted too.

Simple email link to household without archiving
Have just a simple email link to a household from outlook vs the full archive. A free feature that other CRM's utilize would be helpful instead of needing the archive features at an additional cost.
