We should be able to make a task a step and vice versa in a Workflow
If I create a task under a step in a workflow, then decide it needs to be an actual step, I should be able to move it to a step instead of recreating it under the step.

Workflow owner issue on new workflow templates
When creating a new workflow from one of our existing templates (or from scratch), I choose a team in the owner dropdown and create the workflow....but when I view my list of open workflows, the new workflow doesn't show as having an owner. I have to go into the workflow each time and re-assign to an owner. This must be a simple fix.

Workflow Overview With All Staff: Workflow User On Step Rather Than Workflow Owner
When I go to the list of all the active workflows that all staff are working on, I'd rather see which person on the workflow that the current step is on, NOT the workflow owner. The workflow owner being shown is especially annoying if that owner no longer works there. We review this list in a weekly meeting and it adds extra steps to have to open up a new tab to see which person is working on a step. This would be a huge help and add efficiency for us. Thanks!

we should be see if there is a step note- without having to select the toggle
add something visual to indicate there is a note; currently the only way to know if there is a step note is to select the toggle-this is not helpful; at a glance I should be able to see if there is a note

Workflow due dates
Is there a way to create a workflow that assigns task due dates within the workflow based on the number of days from creation of workflow as opposed to number of days from target date? We have a workflow for a process that frequently has varying amounts of time from creation to target date. Assigning due dates based on number of days before target date sometimes gives me tasks that are due in the past (before creation of workflow) and sometimes the first task is due two weeks after creation of workflow.
It would be a nice option if the…20 votesRedtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Have the ability to move workflow tasks out of order
Currently workflow tasks will not let you move forward unless completing, However, sometimes things go out of order. Having the ability to move items within the workflow will allow us to keep moving forward. Currently it just gets stuck if one task is delayed and we can't move on.

Add a box to filter on any activity list or workflow task list by any keyword that could just be typed in.

add activity from WF task
It would be nice if there was an "action" under a WF task to create an activity that has that task as the subject. I'd really like an automation that does it automatically but just having "create activity" under the drop-down menu that has edit task, reassign, etc. which puts you into "create new activity" mode with the subject filled in with the task would be great!

Allow color coding of different steps or tasks within a workflow to show on the Redtail calendar. Currently all tasks show as the same color.

Ability to add workflow creation date as a future date
I would like the ability to add a workflow at a date in the future. I.E. RMD distribution workflow, client wants to take that rmd in December and we have a review in April. Instead of adding a task to add that workflow to the client's profile, have the ability to create the workflow now that has a "start date" of december of that year. I can somewhat do this by using target date, but then the tasks are created to be done months in the future. I would prefer to "schedule" the workflow to start at a future date…

Add multiple contacts to Workflows
When you are attempting to automate a workflow by starting when you set a specified activity, it would be great if you are able to link multiple contacts to a single workflow. This would be especially useful since many client meetings are between 2 spouses and an advisor.
One way of fixing it would be to allow you to enter multiple contacts within the linked contact section on a new activity. Otherwise, if you can make it so that you can link a household name as the linked contact, that would work as well. This would help immensely when it…

When I complete a task in workflow - the next Assigned To should get a notification
Within a Step - when I complete a Task - if the next task is assigned to a different Role they should receive an email notifying them that they are next to complete a step

Default view option on Workflow screen
When I visit the workflow section it would be nice the default to our Team or User as the view, and then I can make adjustments as needed. Thanks

Simplify the ability to add a single task to a user as a workflow task
I need the ability to add a single task to a database user. It is not an activity it is a task. A task that does need to be completed by a certain date which makes it a workflow task. For example, a task to "update a in office form" with completion date of XX/XX/XXXX. **********I would want the user to see it in their workflow tasks that are active and still need to be completed.

Add Workflow Task Notes
We are currently having issues accessing the notes documented within the description box of workflow tasks. If task notes are are captured in the step notes box it can quickly become a jumbled mess. For example, we have a workflow with 2 steps and within those 2 steps are about 5 tasks all assigned to different people. Are the notes for all 5 of the different tasks assigned to different people supposed to be jumbled in a no particular order within the step notes box. So instead of seeing the notes for the specific task, we would have to go…

workflows sorting by current task 'user'
Are we able to sort workflows (on the main Workflows page that shows all) by 'current user'? We couldn't find where we were able to do - so if a certain 'user' is off work, we could just do a search for all the (current) Workflows/Steps/Tasks that were assigned to them and complete them.

GoToWebinar to sync to Redtail Seminars
Enable GoToWebinar integration so that when people register for a webinar, it will auto add them to a linked seminar in Redtail. This is should happen without the need of Zapier, which would require us to pay for an extra service that other CRM's have figured out how to offer already.

recurring tasks
Three things: 1) when adding a new task, it would be great if the task edit box opened automatically instead of having to create the task and then click to edit the task. Just eliminates a step. 2) we would like to have the option to have recurring tasks in a workflow - ex: send quarterly report to client XYZ. 3) If there was a way closing one workflow could automate the start of another specific workflow, that would also be awesome! Right now we have a final task or outcome in the workflow that reminds the user to manually…
