link note to non-primary joint account
If I have Client & Spouse as joint holders of an account created under Client, it now shows up under Spouse as a non-primary joint account. (Thank you!) But, if I am in the Spouse's record and create a Note, the non-primary joint account doesn't show up as an option to link to. I have to go to her accounts, then to the joint account, then scroll down and click on the notes, which takes me to the primary holder (Client) where I can finally create a note that I have to link back to the Spouse. It would be much simpler if the non-primary joint account just showed up in the drop down of "linkable" accounts when I create a note from anywhere in the Spouse's records.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

We have the option in "accounts" to select "view family accounts" for a contact. Why not be able to carry this election over to the Notes section? Our workaround has been to add the other contact to the Note manually (such as spouse on a joint account, or custodian on a UTMA/UGMA account) but that is clunky. Why not make the "view family" function universal across the entire database? Thanks!

Family accounts should show in the link account drop-down for notes. There are so many times when the spouse who is not the primary (in Redtail) on a joint account has notes that should be linked to the account.
