  1. Permissions

    Couple of things related to permissions.
    First, each user should be able to set the default permission of the contacts, actives', and notes they create (separate setting for each). As a db owner managing a group of 15 or so advisors on separate teams its annoying to go through and fix the contacts they forgot to permission.

    Second, inconjunction with the first, have the option to allow the db owner to force permissions of notes and activities to always be the same as contacts and to change when contact permissions change. This would make a much simpler process in a…

  2. Link Banking information to more than one contact

    Make it possible to link the banking information for the head of household with their spouse so that we do not have to enter the information twice.

  4. Change showing Married to Partnered and let the Martial Status denote the type of partnership.

    Showing Married at the top of the screen when people are in Life Partnerships is very misleading. It's hard to remember sometimes whether couples are married or not and awkward to have to ask. There are many types of partnerships these days, including Marrieds, so my suggestion should work well

  8. Contact picture PDF

    We usually scan our client's licenses into our system or clients send their license as a PDF file. It is very time-consuming to convert these to our a .jpg Any way to upload their license as a .pdf so we can add a contact picture for them?

    We need a company spreadsheet showing all Joint Accounts with the joint owner listed next to them. Not all joint owners are spouses and after integrating we need to validate information to make sure all accounts are listing under the co-owner.

  17. Lock the tag groups so no one can delete tag groups on the shared database.

    I lost 500 contacts over 4 months of individually placing these people into tag groups just because one person deleted the tag group in my office.

  18. Add a "Projects" tab

    Similar to Workflows, where certain processes follow the same general flow, Projects would be an Activity that's unique like "Find new office space" or "Develop compliance procedures" for examples, where you can build a timeline and add updates or changes along the way, integrating between the calendar, any contacts, etc.

  19. eMoney Integration for Trust or Business accounts

    Our firm would like to suggest that Redtail consider an upgrade so that eMoney for non-personal/Business and Trust accounts are able to be part of the integration process.
