notes filter - It makes sense to exclude emails from notes since RedTail already has an option to see all emails. This will make it easier for you to see important notes more easily. Especially if you are using an email marketing service; that makes it so time-consuming to scroll through pages of notes to find what you need.

Require Activities to be Templates
I'd like the option to force all activities to be made using an existing template. This would stop miscategorized activities, and also make sure all information is entered as we would like in the description section

Change Phone Type Default to Mobile
I would like to see the Phone Type default in a Contact Record changed to "Mobile" instead of "Home." Hardly anyone has a home phone anymore and it would save time in creating a client record if it would just default to Mobile. Thank you!

Ability to add workflow creation date as a future date
I would like the ability to add a workflow at a date in the future. I.E. RMD distribution workflow, client wants to take that rmd in December and we have a review in April. Instead of adding a task to add that workflow to the client's profile, have the ability to create the workflow now that has a "start date" of december of that year. I can somewhat do this by using target date, but then the tasks are created to be done months in the future. I would prefer to "schedule" the workflow to start at a future date…

Add a place holder for primary and contingent beneficiaries

It would be great if on each screen we can pick what information we would like to see. For instance, right now when I click on contact records I can see the headers "name" "status" "category" "source" and "type". I would like to be able to add different headers sometimes. Maybe for what I'm doing I need to see social security numbers insteaf of "source". Just having that flexibility to easily add or remove what I want to see would make this system so much better.

Add multiple contacts to Workflows
When you are attempting to automate a workflow by starting when you set a specified activity, it would be great if you are able to link multiple contacts to a single workflow. This would be especially useful since many client meetings are between 2 spouses and an advisor.
One way of fixing it would be to allow you to enter multiple contacts within the linked contact section on a new activity. Otherwise, if you can make it so that you can link a household name as the linked contact, that would work as well. This would help immensely when it…

Create a way to set activities to default notify a specific team vs always having to choose a team to notify when updating or completing the activity.

Option to Automatically Generate a Next Review Date based on COMPLETION of previous Review
Allow us to set how often we want to have a review with a client and then when we complete the review, it would then trigger a reminder to set an apt at the specified time period FROM THAT DATE rather than from when you set the initial reminder.

Having a note appear on Today page, when someone tags you
Can you make a section that shows notes in which you have been recently tagged in? There are sections on the Today page for apps we don't event use, but we have to toggle and search for notes that someone has tagged us in. That sounds backwards.

It would very useful if when reviewing notes we could see what users where notified of that note

udf layout customization
It would be great to be able to customize the UDF section layout as well as add collapsable areas for specific info.
ex - a collapsible area titled RMD's with the fields being 2019, 2020, 2021 etc.

customize contact home page template
Please consider offering ability to customize the contact home page template. So we could shift quadrants we use most to the top and either turn off quadrants we don't use or move them to the bottom.

When I complete a task in workflow - the next Assigned To should get a notification
Within a Step - when I complete a Task - if the next task is assigned to a different Role they should receive an email notifying them that they are next to complete a step

Add Tax Year and and Confirmed by Tax Return to Custom Exports
I see others asking similar questions about this. We use a mail-merged document for client meetings using information pulled from Redtail Custom Exports. We've been adding additional information to the report using UDFs, but the Estimated Tax section in Know Your Client already has the information we'd like to pull. In the spirit of being efficient, we'd appreciate if we could pull the Tax Year and the "Confirmed by Tax Return" sections of Estimated Tax Information in Custom Exports. Thanks!

Account filter to generate that report export
When I run and advanced search and lets say, search for account status open, I get a list of contacts that have open accounts. However, when I try to export this list, I get ALL accounts that the contacts that may have had 1 or 2 accounts that were open, now showing ALL their accounts. This is a terrible process as then I have to manually remove the account statuses I never wanted in the first place again. Your filter tool should be able to filter account data all the way to the report export otherwise it's not very useful.
