  1. Give the Calendar - "Today's Date" Indication More Visibility

    In Month view, and the current system makes this difficult to view today instantly. It would be beneficial to add a more visible item such a different color for the date/number or a colored border (perhaps a choice in preferences).

  2. Insurance age changes need to show on the daily reminders along with birthdays. If you need additional information please call me.

    Insurance age changes need to pop up daily as reminders, just like birthdays. An age change happens six months prior to your actual birthday. In September I want to contact my clients and prospects with birthdays in April. I want them to have an opportunity to buy insurance before the rate goes up because they are a year older.   3. Yellow Bar Indicating Activity Linked to Workflow via Automation

    Hello,
    Over the last few weeks I noticed something new.There is a yellow bar notification stating:

    "This Activity is linked to Processing for Managed Money Account via an Automation."

    I love this feature - it makes things so much easier on working between the activity and "linked" workflow.

    Is there a way you could make this work both ways? On the workflow that was created using an automation, could you create a yellow bar at the top that similarly indicates "This workflow is linked to Activity name of activity via an automation"

  4. Add tax qualified status on beneficiary report

    The beneficiary report is great but since no one has their account numbers memorized it would be great to see the tax status along with the type -- that way they would know it was their IRA account or their Roth account or whatever without having to cross reference their account numbers.

  5. Accounts By Status

    The Report "Accounts By Status" should change the name to "Accounts by Open/Close" since the word "STATUS" is used in Contact Details as a user defined field and this report does not reference that field.

  7. Allow Seminars to be seen on calendar in phone app.

    While using the phone app you cannot see scheduled seminars while looking at the calendar. It would be very nice to not have to switch to the seminar tab.

  8. Please add Central Time to emails offering RT Webinars

    When offering RedTail Webinars, you only give (PT/ET), why do you leave off CT? I know it is a small calculation in my head to figure it out, but why not just include it?

  9. Deceased Client with no Family except a Sister or Brother - How to Link them together

    When a client passes away, and there is no spouse or children, but they have a brother or sister. We create a contact for them, but how can we link them together like we do husband and wife? and not have it say Married to when they are family member. Is this possible.

  10. morningstar

    Within Morningstar we are able to customize the benchmark we show for reports. Within Redtail the S&P is the default benchmark. Would love a way to customize the Morningstar reports utilized/printed within Redtail. Thank you!

  11. Signature command for Note/Activity

    Junxure used to have a "Control-J" command which quickly entered the logged-in user's NAME, DATE, TIME. (It is the only feature from Junxure that I wish Redtail copied.) Saves a ton of time when multiple users are fielding calls/questions from client or custodian and entering it into the same note/activity.

  12. assign recurring activity for the last monday of month

    i.e. if I want to put Memorial Day in as a Holiday on my calendar every year, recurring, you only have the option for the "first, second, third or fourth" but Memorial day sometimes falls on the 5th Monday because it's always the "last Monday" of a month. i.e. in 2024 it will be the 5th Monday. Make this an option in the drop-down (annually on the last ___day" of the month or so we can make it recurring monthly, every 12 months, on the last __day".

  13. Birthday Reminders

    I think it would be a good idea to be able to trigger a reminder for a certain birthday. Like 72 for RMD's or 18 for clients who have certain accounts that need to be addressed when their child turns 18.

  14. CRM Document Sorting

    It would be great to be able to have the documents for ALL our clients sorted by date they are put in the system (newest on the top). I know you can sort by date, but it can't be saved. You have to sort for each client, every time.

    It would be nice if in the "Manage Database Lists" section if we had the ability to remove default category types and other defaulted information for cleaning up our CRM.

  16. opportunity most recent

    It would be great to be able to sort opportunities by most recent update. It helps when seeing who was most recently contacted or who has not been updated or contacted in a long time.

  17. Automation after a new type of activity is created

    I have several advisors in the office and would like to trigger certain workflows when a specific type of activity is created but for a specific advisor. For example, If an advisors assistant creates an activity for a specific client and add the advisor as an attendee then it should add the workflow. I don't want the work flow to be added if its for a different advisor. It would have to be another option under "If All Conditions True" section. Right now I only have the option for activity settings not attendee settings or really any other options.

  18. View activities by household

    It would be nice if we could see activities per household instead of per individual contact record and marked which contact the activity involves (both, person A or person B). This would reduce lost activities per household without having to switch back and forth between contact records. Especially now, some household members handle their investments individually and some investments together.

  19. sort contact info

    Would it be possible to make a way to sort info on the contact card? Right now it seems like it just goes by order of input. This would be very helpful for contacts that are vendors that we may have 15 or more points of contact. Something as simple as alphabetical order would make picking out who your are looking for a little more simple. If this has already been suggested I am sorry. I could not find it when I looked. Thank you for your consideration.

  20. slow

    Loading Redtail, adding data, etc. is still too slow. Other applications, like Microsoft 365 are much quicker. My office has super fast systems and internet connections but Redtail, which is one of our main applications is slow.
