  1. LPL Integration

    prior to being at LPL I was with a firm that used pershing. They worked with Smart Office so that everything I entered in SO was pulled directly into pershing and allowed me to open an account with data entry only once. I can't do that with RT and Clientworks. In addition, the KYC section of RT is clunky and shouldn't be on separate pages.

  2. Switch the help location and the google forums area In the red tail help center

    So my thought process is, that when people want help, or to submit feedback, they would typically look for the first available options right.

    Well, when you go to the help screen, the first option besides call someone is the google group which is meant to share ideas.

    Wouldn't it then make sense to swap where the two locations are? To have like minded ideas near each other so when the user wants help, theres the spot. And when the user wants new ideas, it's more near the training section.

    But hey, just my two cents!

  3. To-Do Section

    In each client account, it would be nice to see a "to-do snapshot" or a to-do list that can be added to quickly. It bogs down too much productivity time to go through the activities and/or create one where we could have a simple to-do list or a snapshot of the activities.

  4. Integrately Integration

    Zapier integrations are severely lacking. Whether that's due to Zapier/Redtail, only they know. Integrately works similar to Zapier and is a new kid on the block. They will likely push through better integrations with Redtail than what's currently available through Zapier. Please consider reaching out to them so that we can have a more robust integration platform.

  5. search notes by user

    Add the ability to EASILY search notes within a contact by user. Make it so we can do it by checking a user box. I need to have this ability, but not so frequently that I remember how to do it. It take me several minutes or calls to your technical support line to figure it out.

  6. Add tax withholding field in payment info section

    Add tax withholding field in payment info section. Right now you can only add a numerical entry. For IRA accounts we need to be able to add their tax withholding percentage. Thanks!

  8. Have categories for notes, so you when add notes, you can put it in a category.

    Have categories for notes. So when you do a note, you can click on the category it should go in. So when you look for notes under a client, they aren't all just there, but can be categorized for notes that were in regards to say: emails: meetings: phone calls etc etc

    Please add an automation for Opportunities... when it's updated/saved or when the stage changes. Anything you can do would be very helpful!

    Allow me to remove "Local Time" It is not needed and will clutter the screen. I know some people might like it, so allow it to be turned off.

  13. privacy

    Right now the permission level hides or forbids people not in that team to see anything related to the client. I like to have a privacy where they can see the client and the contact information (basics) so what a CRM should be, but cannot see the financials or notes, etc...

  16. Remove SEI marker next to contact name when client no longer holds SEI assets.

    It is inaccurate to have SEI marker next to client name when they no longer hold any assets with SEI.
    Work with SEI to remove.

  17. Add Workflow Task Notes

    We are currently having issues accessing the notes documented within the description box of workflow tasks. If task notes are are captured in the step notes box it can quickly become a jumbled mess. For example, we have a workflow with 2 steps and within those 2 steps are about 5 tasks all assigned to different people. Are the notes for all 5 of the different tasks assigned to different people supposed to be jumbled in a no particular order within the step notes box. So instead of seeing the notes for the specific task, we would have to go…

  18. Life/domestic partner option in Family (in lieu of Spouse)

    Add the option for life partner or domestic partner when creating a family in place of Spouse. The Other option doesn't show up in the Family on the "other" person's contact record. Utilizing memberships takes extra steps and you have to search for it by clicking More, then Memberships. Any time saved is beneficial.

  19. When you are in Favorites - press a letter and jump to the first last name with that letter

    The new favorites feature will list out all the contacts who are started. When you are on that page, press a letter and it will jump to the first name with that letter. I would prefer to have it search last name.

    Maybe also have a quick search box at top so you can type in few letters and it will bring up contacts with that last name match of 2-3 letters.

  20. app

    App needs MAJOR improvements..... Can't scroll on calendar to see day's appts./tasks; can't assign to more than one person; app just looks old/outdated/can't keep up; newly added calendar items appear on desktop computer at different times than what I put into the app. I could go on and on. Needs overhaul!
