Enable Link Preview Feature
Clients are much more likely to click on a link to an article or video, if broadcast emails automatically show a preview to the link instead of just the URL. The best example being when you sent a link with an apple product in iMessage. Let's make it happen!

Have an automation to set Roles based on Writing Advisor
When adding a new contact and selecting the Writing Advisor, there should be an automation that will add the roles for that Writing Advisor. When setting workflows by roles, the workflows go into never never land if the roles are not in the contact record yet.

Source from Opportunity should link to Source on Contact Record
After an Opportunity is marked as "Closed," it would be great if the Source from that Opportunity transferred to/updated the Source on the client's contact record.

membership codes
Need to be able to search by membership code.
Currently there is only a report that can be run. From the report, a bulk action cannot be performed.
If we can perform a search, then we can use a bulk action on the results.
My request is:

Identify on the app which contacts are ACTIVE vs INACTIVE.
Identify on the app which contacts are ACTIVE vs INACTIVE or not even show the inactive one. On the app I am unable to identify so I am constantly entering notes incorrectly into the wrong (inactive or old duplicate) contact.

Voice to Text
It would be great if on my desktop where I and my staff do all of our client notes, we could do speech to text. Currently we have to do speech to text in Word and then copy and paste to redtail.

Would like the ability to add a Step Note without Uncompleting a Task already Completed
It is cumbersome to have to go back through a Step and mark formerly completed tasks because the Note feature changed the status.

Generating the next step/task in a workflow.....
Instead of showing ALL the steps/tasks due on the calendar, a step/task should not show up on the calendar until the previous step/task is completed. Example: Step 1/Task 1 (marked completed) then the next Task 2 within the Step 1 is generated. Once all the tasks have been generated 1 at a time and completed then the Step 2 would generate. That way the calendar is not bombarded with so many tasks. This is especially helpful when so many steps/tasks are generated for a multitude of clients.

Fill in Type from the Account Class Field fed in from LPL Account Data
When linked to Clientworks via their single sign on, the Account Type shows 'other'. If you could map this field to be feed from the LPL Account data "Account Class" (IE: Brokerage - Non Retirement)

Add automatic actions to workflows
Rather than just add tasks for users to complete, add the ability to update contact fields, account fields, and UDFs automatically after a task has been completed.

risk tolerance
In the section to list what risk tolerance a client has it only shows three options. It would be nice if we could customize the list to match what our tolerance shows for our business. If there is a way to add this section to the update list section so that we can add in our own options it would really help with how we use this function.

Be able to Archive an entire file.
Be able to Archive an entire file. Goal, only see file when we want to.
Example: When a prospect doesnt pan out, we want to keep the file and it's informaton; however, it would be "hidden" until we wanted to see it.38 votes -
PDF Mail Merge
We have a few documents that are PDFs and not personalized but that we'd like to track delivery of. The most recent is the new CRS. It would be nice if there was an option to do a PDF upload to a client like a mail merge - easily save it as a note with creation date and time along with details. For instance, I'm talking to a client about making a change to their investments, I can click on PDF Upload instead of mail merge, choose save as a note, enter in "Discussion of using new mutula fund family…

Would love a user friendly "Boards" view for project management tool similar to Microsoft Teams or Asana.

Please include the note when we notify the other user. It's too many steps to have the user login and search the client just to see the note. Our staff would like to be able to just view the note right there from the email message.

Provide option to automatically populate future contacts with custom UDFs.
We have over 50 standard questions that help us to know our clients better. We want to create custom fields that will automatically populate a new client's record so that we can add the information as we obtain it regarding our client's likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. The bulk action only seems to apply to existing contacts, and new fields added individually.
