Make Retriever for Imaging Mac-Compatible
Any progress yet with making Retriever compatible with a Mac for uploading docs into Imaging? Our office is migrating to Macs and it'd be nice to have the quick drop with Retriever when we need to efile a large portion of documents.

This suggestion is either not possible or not planned at the current time. Technology changes all the time though!

It's been almost 5 years since I posted this. Is there an update. I'm long passed tired of working through Parallels and Outlook for Windows for syncing with Redtail. Multiple times every year I have clear out my Outlook calendar, contacts and tasks because of some communication error, duplication or data not syncing. This is a waste of time. Let's get the Mac side done so I can focus on growing my business without wrestling with the technology.

Need a retriever for mac desk top to facilitate back up of client files and moving new business into Redtail imaging. How to do mass upload of new client files with mac should I buy a business.
I became aware of Redtail at LPL's FOCUS 2017. Your sales team used a mac in the demonstration. Very disappointed to find the mac was a stage prop and not fully compliant on your system. I don’t wish to use a work around; Parallel or Boot Camp.
Please communicate to me that using a mac will give me equal standing and full operation in your Redtail CRM/Imaging and is part of your business model.
Like what I see but need more... -

Has Redtail created a solution to sync calendars with Mac yet?

I concur. Our office uses Apple computers too

Retriever for Imaging ONLY works on PCs and our whole office is on MAC computers. Not very helpful!

I prefer not to have to pay for another service to do this - I have used other CRMs that have the data go back and forth between them and iCal and Contacts and RingCentral

I cant believe that Redtail doesn't sync with Mac Calendar. I think with the other CRM's out there Redtail better get it together or subscribers will leave

This is a major pain. What are other Imaging users doing? Redtail is compliant and secure, and local storage offers speed/convenience in accessing the files. Thus the need to keep the two copies.
Right now, it seems the only way to keep files synchronized is to manually re-download the entire imaging library from retriever, nightly or weekly to catch any file changes.

Completely agree with Mike. When are you going to jump to the 21st century?

Hi Tara, do you have an update by any chance?

The inability to synchronize folders on Redtail Imaging with my hard drive (Mac / Finder) is perhaps the main thing that is causing me to consider moving my business elsewhere. I do not see the advantage to using Imaging when there are so many lower cost cloud storage options available that will automatically update documents in the cloud as I change them on my computer.

I would like retriever to be compatible with Mac's - would be extremely helpful! And for my work e-mail to sync with RedTail.
Thanks!

It is a little disturbing to me that the mac compatibility is not full feature by now. The popularity of apple products is continuing to grow exponentially and to ignore this market bothers me. More and more people are buying I Phones and then Mac laptops, so I will be canceling my subscription if Redtail doesn't recognize this huge void in their systems.
