Permission Folders
There should be a Permissions feature available in Redtail Imaging for Folders. For example, a financial advisor that has their own folder with individual client folders within it should have the ability to be the only one with Permission to view their own folder (outside of database owner of course). It shouldn't be setup so that everyone can view each other's client folders, especially given the stepped up focus on cyber security and identity theft. I am really surprised this hasn't been corrected yet. Thank you.

We can set permissions in redtail CRM by teams, however, these permissions do not carry over into redtail imaging. This is important for a multi advisor office where advisors do not have full access to the database.

Please add the ability for administrators/partners of firms to limit access of other organization users to certain particular libraries for security reasons.

We would like to see edit viewing permissions added in Redtail Image. This protects the client information when the database is shared with more than one advisor.

Install permissions in Imaging to segregate accessibility of the individual Libraries. I have a large group of advisors and would prefer to keep each library private to a select group of users.

I would like to reinforce my support of such a feature....

Permissions in the Redtail CRM are nice, but they are negated when a database is integrated with Redtail Imaging. Currently, a restricted user can access all database files in Redtail Imaging, even contacts they are suppose to be restricted from seeing.

Yes we feel it's critical to have viewing permissions. Perhaps it could be integrated into a library for each rep. Then only the rep (and his team) could upload and view his library of client folders. Without it at this time the documents are more private in the CRM, though it may not be compliant for a back-up.

We have a lot of advisors who want to get on board with Redtail Imaging. They are looking for the ability to have one database shared across their whole agency in which the admins and OSJs have access to all of the corporate libraries and directories. Those associates will essentially be able to see everything. They can see all of the advisors corporate folders. The advisors who report up through the OSJ can only see their folders and the advisors/clients that they split business with.
This would essentially solve inter office privacy issues and as FINRA and the SEC get more involved with branch data, this may solve regulatory issues as well.

We don't use the viewing permissions but would like the ability to make some folders viewable only to the person signed in. So I agree with this feature but to make it so that the imaging folders/libraries can have separate permissions.

We currently have our own private folders on our desktop that we don’t want anyone else to see. Is there anything in Doc imaging that will allow us the same type of privacy. For example if one of our managers has employee records that he needs to keep confidential and doesn’t want the rest of the office to see, can he have his own personal place in imaging to put this folder?

I'd like to restrict corporate files from employee access.

AGREE . . . but also, please give us the ability to mark some "users" with READ ONLY privileges to images.
Thanks,

Individual reps sign in under our master database and see only their OWN client/prospect records through RedTail’s new “Viewing Permissions” feature. However, currently RedTail IMAGING allows ALL reps & users to access ALL IMAGE folders regardless of whether they have access to that record or NOT through the “Viewing Permissions” feature. We’d like to see the Imaging Folders aligned so that each rep has access to only the imaged folders that pertain to their own clients/prospects.

Due to Compliance and Confidentiality, we need to control who can see everything in our Redtail Imaging. Advisors should not be able to view everyone elses client documents as well as our corporate files. We do however, need to allow certain people to have access to these areas. As of right now that is not possible. You need to have a couple of levels for permissions. It should not be all or none.
Thank you

I work with "back office" outsourcing partners and it would be great if I could share certain folders with certain people. This would be similar to how DropBox creates "shared folders." Everyone is familiar with DropBox these days!
