Imaging Permissions
In Imaging, adding the ability to set permissions or restrictions on libraries, limiting who can view what library. We are an OSJ branch that has a few different users of our imaging capability. Unfortunately, we have no way to limit which user can view all of the imaging files. Everyone can see everything since there are no permissions in place.

With the switch in pricing packages for users vs database, this is more needed than ever, and still completely unadressed. There are compliance departments out there considering banning redtail imaging as a file database because you cannot secure this permission option, making it non-compliant.

Please please please do this. We need to be able to restrict access to files. Or at least hide the "launch imaging" button in the file tree inside CRM when looking at the client files.

We need to be able to restrict User Libraries. We use the Client Library for almost all of our clients so that all advisors can access the information there, but we also need to be able to add confidential files that only the assigned manager can access. From the training video, I thought that is what the User Library was used for. I was surprised to find that while I was training a colleague to use Redtail that she could access the confidential information in my User Library. Please add permissions to the User Libraries.

I agree, the permissions are a very much needed feature for compliance.

I agree, permissions are a must for the Imaging libraries. I would be happy with the client library being open to all users, and the corporate library being restrict-able. That would solve my problem!

I can't believe this can't be at minimum turned off. You set permissions in the crm; and can limit them there; but then it gives them full reign/access to your imaging...You should at minimum be able to turn off users access to imaging so they can't see everything!

This would be imperative for our office in expansion. We would see the need to set these permissions either to follow the linked contact permissions, or Imaging to allow folder creator to select at individual folders within the same library during creation of the folder - either would be acceptable, but the complete openness is counter intuitive to setting permissions on a contact that anyone could access imaging on the back end...

We also would love to see this feature. We are currently unable to let our IARs use our Redtail CRM as they will automatically all be able to see everyone's client files in our linked Imaging system.
This really seems like functionality that already should have been addressed by Redtail, as a leader in the FinTech space which is an industry so heavily focused on compliance. -

We too would like imaging permissions. We have multiple reps in our office, some with a dedicated admin that only services that reps clients and it is a potential compliance issue when those admins can see everyone's imaged documents.
