Web mail calendar sync with regular redtail calendar
I would like to suggest that Redtail coordinates the Redtail web mail calendar with the regular Redtail calendar. If you could sync those two calendars together that way I wouldn't have to manually transfer my web mail calendar appointments into the Redtail calendar

When it comes to scheduling appointments, have the appt attendees default to who ever's calendar you are in
99% of the time it is a receptionist or other support staff scheduling appointments with our advisors/preparers. In our office we have 5 advisors who meet with our clients. When we go to schedule an appointment we pull up the clients specific advisors calendar to select the time slot for the appointment. Yet the meeting attendee defaults to whoever is making the appointment, not to the advisor (who's calendar you are actually viewing)
Could you possibly create a preference to default the attendee to the person who's calendar we are viewing at that time? this would be a much faster…7 votes -
Adding this new feature
You really should consider developing / adding a "SMS" feature to the CRM that is tied (as an option) to the calendar.
Once an appointment is placed on the calendar, there could be a box that reads something like, "Enable SMS". When clicked you could choose how often you want your (pre-personalized)text message to be sent that automatically includes the date & time scheduled. The message would then give the recipient the option to confirm, cancel, help or stop. This would take additional steps off what the Admins have to do in order to send / call with reminders to…7 votes -
right click on calendar to quick complete time block tasks.
I time block the areas I want to work on and it would be nice to just right click to quickly complete a task on my calendar.

Add the ability to include calendar information in email templates.
I utilize a template to remind clients of upcoming meetings and it'd be great if the date/time could be automatically included in the email based on what is in my calendar.

Contact name hover over window customize-able
When you hover over a contact name in calendar...a window pops up showing contact information like address, phone and email...I'd like to be able to have that window be customizable so that I could display the clients investment account balance at the bottom of the window.

Shade All Day Events on Calendar
When an All Day event is created, such as being out for vacation or at a conference, it would be nice to see that day shaded in a semi-transparent color, similar to what Outlook does. It makes scheduling easier, rather than having to look at the top section of the calendar (which is generally used for birthday reminders).

Create option to "freeze" the 'all day' row
Please add the ability to "Freeze" the "all day" row in the calendar. When scheduling for multiple users later in the day (so that you are unable to see the "all day" row), it is easy to forget when people are out of the office, it's a holiday, people are working from home, etc... If that row were frozen, far fewer scheduling mishaps would occur!!

Set Activity Availability on Calendar
This is primarily for purposes for integrating the Redtail calendar with scheduling apps like Calendly.
It would be nice to be able to set the "Availability" for activities as Free, Tentative, or Busy like Outlook has with their "Show As" option.
Currently, any Tasks or other activity types that sync between Redtail and Outlook show up as Busy in Outlook and need to be manually changed to Free if it's meant to be a reminder or something that can be moved around, otherwise it makes that time spot unavailable for Calendly scheduling.

Better Details When Hovering On Activity On Calendar
I was looking at what additional information showed up when you hover over an activity and the only new info was the attendee. For most people they only see their own calendars so that was obvious. It'd be more helpful if we could see the activity description when we hover as well as the activity type (in case we haven't memorized what each color means) and category.

Would like a Retriever Cloud option to choose whether or not to have attendees and linked contacts in the body of the Activity
When using Calendly or adding an activity to Outlook that includes an invitee, an extra Outlook notification is sent to the invitee after Retriever Cloud adds in the linked contacts and attendees to the body of the activity. Would like to avoid this extra email by disabling those items from being added to the body.

Retriever Rolling Calendar Syncing
In Retriever, It would be super if you could have a 'rolling' calendar/time-line when the preferences are set for calendar syncing. We were doing a 3 month 'viewing' w/Calendar but it was still showing September - current. Is there a current setting we're missing or is this the current default (that we have to manually update)? Thank you and we'll talk after Jan. 4th!!!

Calendar Update Notifications
When a calendar activity has been assigned to a team member they are notified via email. When the activity has been deleted/removed from the calendar, the tagged attendees are not notified of the deletion and now opening in their calendar. This would be a helpful use of the calendar system.

Holiday's Observed On a Different Day than Falls On
Example: Workflows aren't skipping Monday, July 5th for the (observed) holiday - it would be super if the Calendar would adjust the Holiday 'day' to the one that it is observed on. Thanks, you guys! TeamRedTail-Rocks! Ty

Activity Location
I know this has been previously suggested, but it is ridiculous that we have to open an activity to see it's location in calendar view. We have multiple users and cover multiple locations. Our Admin needs an easy way to see appointment locations on the multi user calendar view without having to open each appointment to find it. PLEASE address this!
