  1. copying addresses between different tags on contact card

    IDEA: For those clients whose mailing and residence are the same, would be nice to be able to type it once and then have a button or check box to copy that address to another address category. Type in home address, click button and it's copied to the mailing address as well (or other, or any of the other address types.)

  2. allow a custom local time to be added

    most people use cell phones and the new feature doesn't address this, we need to be able to manually enter a time zone

  3. buisness contacts

    It would be nice to have a place to store our business contacts without having them be stored in the "Contacts A-Z" . Instead have it be its own contact list where all the info needed on an individual would be things like name, email, company, company address, & phone numbers. It could be stored where you click on contacts on the far left side and then at the top have it be its own tab next to "Contacts A-Z" essentially just a virtual rolodex.

  4. Link Multiple Contacts at once in Imaging

    Imaging allows multiple contacts to be linked to a folder. But each one has to be added individually. We should be able to link a husband and wife to their household folder without having to save the first person and locate the folder again from the home screen.

  5. When we type the name, it would be nice to automatically fill in the nickname. this will keep the data clean

    Automatically fill in the nickname. save time and we can edit if is different from the name.

  6. Customize or Filter the Notes on the Contact Main Page

    It would be very helpful to be able to filter how we are viewing the notes on the main contacts page so we could choose if we wanted the notes to be displayed or the activity. Currently you are only able to see the activity and the notes all combined in that section. We would preferer to filter out the activities and only have the advisor notes displayed. Our firm relies heavily on the notes as a point of reference so being able to push out the activities update in that section would be great. Thank you

  8. mail merge fields

    Why is it taking so long to make more mergeable fields? There should have been updates to these along time ago. Mail Merge items that are of DIRE NEED are:
    SSN (client & spouse)
    Cell phone # (client & spouse)
    DOB--spouse is not
    email address -- spouse is not
    FULL NAME -- spouse to many merge fields to get one result
    ID #'s (client & spouse)
    ETC.
    IF it is on the contact record we should not have to export the information into a spreadsheet and then put it into a word document not very efficient!

  9. Add Citizenship field to Contact Details on 1st Page of Contact

    Add "Citizenship" information to the "Contact Details". Contact Details is more visible for this highly important information vs. being buried in "Know Your Client". This has caused our staff to periodically overlook this information and forced account opening corrections after the fact with further embarrassing interaction w/the client.Thank you!!!

  10. Text multiple contacts on a group client text through SPEAK

  11. sort contact info

    Would it be possible to make a way to sort info on the contact card? Right now it seems like it just goes by order of input. This would be very helpful for contacts that are vendors that we may have 15 or more points of contact. Something as simple as alphabetical order would make picking out who your are looking for a little more simple. If this has already been suggested I am sorry. I could not find it when I looked. Thank you for your consideration.

  12. have the ability to create custom banners for contacts

    For example: have a banner that indicates a contact is a top client; but we admins could freely create whatever banners they wish to use for their practice.

  13. Change Formatting of Website Code for Phone Numbers

    Mitel Web Dialer, which is a Chrome Extension, is working the way it is intended on any other website, but in Redtail it is not. The way it works is any phone number on the page will be highlighted orange and with just a click, it will dial it using the Mitel phone assistant application.
    In Redtail we figured out what the issue essentially is. I am attaching a screenshot of some of the webpage and the developer mode.

  15. Client > Month of Birth

    For Custom Export purposes, please add a "Month of Birth" field so that we can include that on our custom exports. We organize our annual client meetings around each client's month of birth. But the way that the dob exports, it's a pain to deal with that in Excel.

  16. Search bar for contacts

    Need a Search Feature that is as simple as google or another search engine to quickly dive into the contact you are looking for. Otherwise it take 3 clicks minimum to get to the client. That is inefficient.

  17. Automatically Link Contacts with their Company

    When you search for a company and then click on it, you should be able to automatically see the people associated with that company, without having to manually add them in the department fields, which doesn't search for existing contacts to add. When you add a contact and their Company Information, they should automatically be associated with that Business. When you search for a company in the search box, the list should include those contacts associated with the company. (FYI - per a response in a closed posting. Using the Advanced search feature to do this is not an acceptable…

  18. Include client name on Contact Card / Contact Details

    The client's name is displayed only in the upper left, while pertinent contact details are often in the lower right on the screen. It would be great if the name also appeared somewhere in the Contact Card or Contact Details windows. I.e. "Contact Card - Client Name"

  19. WordPress integration

    Can you guys create an integration with WordPress? It is by far the most popular website back end. Currently, I have an integration that is paired with zapier, but when people type in data it jumbles it up in RedTail. We need a clean integration so the data gets ported properly.

  20. I came over from ACT Contact system and I was able to search an individual by t

    it is fairly frustrating not to be able to pull up an individual by company name. The only way around it is to add company again as a tag. Many, many times you can remember the company name but not employee name. Adding it again as a tag is double work. Is there a reason why it won't allow you to pull up name or family when you search for it?
