  1. Add an option for "ACH" or "WIRE" banking information

    When adding in contact's banking information, we should have the ability to select if the banking information is for ACH or Wire transfers.

  2. Hearsay texting platform integration

    My b/d requires we use Hearsay as our texting solution if we choose to communicate with clients via text. I know that RT has a texting solution already but I'm asking that you guys add an integration with Hearsay to copy texting conversations to the appropriate Contact record in RT

  3. Change Formatting of Website Code for Phone Numbers

    Mitel Web Dialer, which is a Chrome Extension, is working the way it is intended on any other website, but in Redtail it is not. The way it works is any phone number on the page will be highlighted orange and with just a click, it will dial it using the Mitel phone assistant application.
    In Redtail we figured out what the issue essentially is. I am attaching a screenshot of some of the webpage and the developer mode.

  4. Retired next to previous occupation

    Make a way to add if a client is retired while still having their previous occupation listed. Maybe a checkbox or parenthesis next to the occupation at the top of the client page or in the contact details.

  5. Add calculated UDF capability

    Having the option to create UDFs that are calculated based on other fields would be immensely beneficial. Potential uses include:

    • Automatic RMD calculation

      • Automatically adjust divisor based on client age
      • Automatically calculate RMD given 12/31 balance and divisor
      • Could create a "Remaining RMD" field that can help track distributions taken to-date
    • Better reporting on time-based activities -- fields can auto-update based on date triggers

    • Client groupings that update automatically based on age, AUM, etc.

  6. I want the Referred by box to search the CRM related to contacts that I am typing. I want to link the referring client directly to the refer

    Not browser saving prior entries, but that it links it to the contact client that referred the new client.

  7. add a household portfolio balance option

    When a client is married you should have the option to see the household portfolio balance not just the individual portfolio balance on the main screen.

  8. mail merge fields

    Why is it taking so long to make more mergeable fields? There should have been updates to these along time ago. Mail Merge items that are of DIRE NEED are:
    SSN (client & spouse)
    Cell phone # (client & spouse)
    DOB--spouse is not
    email address -- spouse is not
    FULL NAME -- spouse to many merge fields to get one result
    ID #'s (client & spouse)
    ETC.
    IF it is on the contact record we should not have to export the information into a spreadsheet and then put it into a word document not very efficient!

  9. Favorites

    Can you switch the first item on the contact page back to Clients A-Z instead of Favorites. I don't have time or a desire to pick "favorites" amongst my clients and having to click from "Favorites" to Clients A-Z every time I go in to find a client, is just an unnecessary step in my already crowded schedule.

  10. UDF's in Advanced Search

    Please allow User Defined Fields (UDF's) to be used in Advanced Search.
    We need this for basic compliance review of client agreements (we have multiple service agreements, so one "client since" field does not work). Plus tracking of client meeting UDF's.

  11. Link Activity Location to Contacts

    It would be great if the location would link to contacts, so that you could indicate that the meeting would be at a client's work place and the address would be displayed...

  12. Make the sub-Contact lists "movable"...especially Memberships

    I am constantly going into Memberships and would like to be able to get to it a little quicker than having to go to "more" and then drop down the list. The ability to rearrange those Contact choices would be great.

    We currently have to put it in the "Long Description" field so the information is there but doesn't print on labels. It would be nice if there was a field for it that would show on the Contact Card.

  15. When adding a new contact for a husband and a wife, more then just the address & phone # should be added for the spouse

    All the fields should be defaulted to copy the first entry, The permissions, tags,teams, status, category, source. Referred by, servicing advisor, writing advisors. etc. Why do these fields not auto-populated from the spouse?

  16. On a contact’s page, under Employer, it would be great to see everyone else who works at the same employer, without leaving the page.

  17. Automatic Spouse Contact Record Should Inherit Permissions

    An automation exists to permission new contact records to the associated advisor, so other advisors cannot see that advisor's contacts. This is a compliance requirement and Redtail has this functionality. However, When a spouse record is created automatically from a contact, it does not get the permissions that are assigned to the associated Contact - even though is has the same information as the contact that the automation uses to assign permissons.
    This is causing a compliance issue as the spouse record can be seen by other advisors. Can you please 'enhance' the system to apply the same permissions to…

    I would like to be able to hover over "Important Information" rather than clicking it, to view the text - or perhaps just have the text listed under the icon if there is text there

  19. Please give us a way to modify the order of options on the left menu bar.

    Please give us a way to modify the order of options on the left menu bar. Specifically, the contact submenu that appears when on a contact's profile page. For example, we should be able to put 'Memberships' at the top directly under the Company-contact's name on the left menu bar. That way we can see all the individuals associated with that company quickly.
