Bulk Indexing
Please add the option to add personal indexes in Redtail Imaging in bulk. We upload quite a few images/documents each quarter; adding indexes on each document separately is not productive at all. There are many ways to do this - you could add a feature in the Retriever that allows us to add indexes when we first upload the document; or allow the option to add the indexes to the folder containing the documents, which would then automatically add the indexes to each document within that folder. Please vote for this new feature - it would save A LOT of time for all of us.
New Imaging has an improved feature that allows you to add many indexes in quickly to any document without indexes.

In Redtail Imaging, allow us to apply an index field to multiple files and/or folders at once. Right now, if I wanted to add a new index field, say, "Advisory, true/false" and I wanted to apply this to 1,000 client folders in Imaging, I'd have to do this one at a time. There should be a way to select multiple folders and apply an index field to all of them in bulk.

Redtail Imaging Suggestion for institutional indexing

Check out Docupace. It does exactly what you're asking. All indexes at the folder level are automatically applied to the documents in that folder. I won't switch back to Redtail Imaging until it becomes much more convenient to use.

I can add an institutional index to a folder, but somehow it doesn't apply that index to the documents within the folder. We have100 pages of documents that need to be indexed and as it is, I have to open each document and index it one-at-a-time. It's a huge waste of time. Allow me to index multiple documents in a client folder!!!!

When I index an entire folder, I would like those indexes to apply to all sub-folders and documents within.

For joint accounts and trust situations where the authorized signers for an account might not be a family/ not directly linked in Redtail CRM, it would be nice to index a folder to multiple names.
For example, if John Doe and James Smith are unrelated and are both trustees on a single account, it'd be nice to add an index for both of them. We currently can link multiple CRM contacts to a folder but can only index for one.

If a person has one or more files to index, it was very easy to search page by page to find the name more than once. NOW - you can only index name by name which causes the name to be typed in over and over.

Add a feature to Redtail imaging that would allow us to do a blanket change to the name of a folder that appears under every client's name within Redtail imaging

Currently I can go to a client folder and I can "View / Add Inst Indexes" and go the "Client File" and can designate a "Client Firstname" and "Client Lastname".
It would be nice if any files uploaded to that folder would then mirror everything designated to that "Client File" drop down so that each image would be indexed.
Another easy fix would be to have an option under the "indexes" drop down, to be able to "expand all" and to be able to enter just the required fields (first & last name) in the Client File.

After uploading files to Imaging it would be a great asset to be able to apply an index to multiple files at one time instead of having to do each one individually.

I think the idea of bulk indexing is a great idea, but if you notice when you add a client name to the right, it stays there. Example: I am indexing 4 files for John Doe and have entered his name at the right and clicked on the files at the left to index. Then I go to Jane Doe's files and go to enter her name at the right.....John's name is still in there. It is not that much of a problem when you are indexing CLIENT files because you can just type over it, but if you are then bulk indexing ADVERTISING, the client's name is in the fields below and then the advertising has the client name on it (IF you don't remember to go and delete the names). It would be very nice if when it refreshed, the name went away all together.

Bulk anything - bulk deletions, bulk moving of files, bulk linking of CRM contacts.. all would be appreciated!

To be compliant, all files need to be indexed. Offices with hundreds of clients have thousands of statements per year. Allow the user to select mulitple files and apply an index to all selected files.
