Make it easier to move files from folder to folder
When moving a file from one folder to another on Redtail Imaging, you cannot move more than one file at a time. Additionally, when trying to move files, you must go through each folder, which is extremely time consuming. There should be an easier process for moving files through Redtail Imaging.
New Imaging has a much-improved way to move files (in bulk too).

Redtail really needs to have better options for managing multiple libraries for actual users. Here are some recommendations that in this day and age should be feasible for your engineers to update:
1) the control or action buttons (ie, SAVE) should hover over the screen and move down the page with you so you don't have to scroll forever when you have a long list of clients.
2) allow for Multiple, Simultaneous "moves" of files to 1 designated folder that you can select. You do offer this option for deleting files so it is actually safer to move the files bc they stay intact.
3) be allowed to move entire libraries around. With these upgrades, users would be independent and efficient in managing their files.

Hello, I would lover to be able to move some but not all files in a folder to another folder at the same time in imaging. It is quite time consuming to move multiple files if not moving the entire folder. Plus you can check box different files which "tricks" you into thinking they will all move.

make it so you can move files between folders in groups, rather than one at a time

Natasha, you should download Retriever. All of the things you want to do works much better in Retriever than strictly in imaging. You can move multiple files and/or folders at the same time using the cut and paste function. I use it to move all my scanned docs from my desktop to imaging rather than "upload" from a client file, which takes a lot of time. Retriever is much faster and you can do more than imaging. It is right under "tools" in imaging.

1) For starters, I think Imaging needs a general - face lift.
2) CRM is significantly more user-friendly than imaging. In imaging, typically you can only do things file by file or folder by folder. So lets say you need to move 10 files out of one folder into another folder, you have to move each individual file. Same with deleting files - you have to delete each file individually - rather than being able to check those 10 files and move them all at once.
3) Also with moving files - it would be nice to be able to move them by clicking and dragging. Lets say you have a path of the folders on the left of the screen and being able to select a file or folder, or even multiple files, and drag them over top of the location you what them to be - 'drop them' or let go of the button and your done.
4) Improve Imaging to work in Chrome so that I can use one browser for both CRM and Imaging.
5) Lastly, I am not quite sure why, but Imaging always seems to move slower for some reason - is there something you can do to fix that?
Thank you. -

We are just starting to use Redtail Imaging. We would like to have the ability to place multiple sub folders under our clients and Prospects en masse. It would save us a lot of time if we had the ability to place in each clients folder several sub folders instead of creating them individually.

Just curious why you would go through all that trouble. Let your auditor look for the files he wants. We also have annual audits and auditor has access to all of our files anyway, so I just let him look at what he wants and not worry about putting it in separate files. Don't let them be lazy!

For compliance we have an annual audit to make sure that we are doing everything we need to. It would save a lot of time if we were able to select multiple items in a clients folder and save them to a folder on our computer. Right now I can right click and save one doc at a time. I have the option to select more than one but after they are selected all I can do to the group is delete.

When uploading documents it gets rather tedius to go in and have to change the account number each document is linked to one by one especially when there are upwards of 50 documents that require this.

I agree. We upload or scan into the "Unfiled Library", and it would be much more efficient if we could use the existing check boxes to the left of the documents, and then move all the documents to a particular location (for example, to a Client Library folder or subfolder)! Currently, the whole process is cumbersome and time-consuming

I would like to be able to move and delet multiple documents at once in imaging/Project Fetch. is it possible to make this happen?
