Add Automation Trigger for "Created by User"
There are several Automation Trigger requests, most, if not all of them are great ideas. Please also add an Automation Trigger for when an Object or Record is "Created by User".

Updating opened or assigned workflows to sync to template updates
When updating a workflow template, existing workflows should have the option to be updated as well, without deleting the existing data. For instance the completed tasks should not be touched. If however, there are additional steps or rewording of steps/tasks, we should have the option to update assigned/opened workflows as well.

Combine Email/Call/Text Logs
Instead of adding call and text information to the notes, it would be great to have one tab for logging of all communication with clients that could be filtered out between emails, calls, and texts. We have a text-heavy clientele, and we're new to Redtail but already finding that text logging is bogging down our notes list.

Activities by Contact Report - Add Servicing Advisor to Export
Please add Servicing Advisor to the excel/csv export of the Activities by Contact Report.
You can filter the visible activities by Servicing Advisor in Activities by Contact Report, but the export does not include the Servicing Advisor.

Create an email aggregation box on the dashboard / home page that would only have emails from contacts that exist in Redtail
Being able to have a heads up that focused on the most important emails that need to be addressed daily minus the junk mail and other clutter

Today page Account Types and Held Away Wheel
Closed accounts are reflected in the wheel. This needs to have an option to display only open accounts.

Redtail Speak - Display Year Text was Sent/Received
Would like to be able to see the year a text was sent/received directly in Redtail Speak. We can see it in Redtail Speak History, but would like the year shown inside of Speak itself when texting.

Create insurance account pages that actually make sense with insurance reports
I have been a user since Brian was giving the training and RT still hasn't created simple insurance pages with fields that only pertain to that type of insurance. Also, it is a scandal for a supposed CRM for financial advisors that there isn't an insurance report. Maybe Orion will help.

Keap/Infusionsoft direct integration
Zapier integration is so limited with Keap (FKA Infusionsoft) and Redtail. I would love a full integration between the two, a push/pull capability. Right now, I'd have to train my whole team on how Keap works, plus have them do some actions in Keap, others in Infusionsoft - it's messy. I'd rather they have the capability to add information in Redtail, where they already are logged in all day, and add a contact to a tag group, keyword, UDF, and have that action push to Keap to start/stop campaigns, etc. Zapier is only allowing us to push data FROM keap…

Pin a note feature
Have the option to pin an important note in the contact record so it can be easily accessable.

inserting notes
It would be so helpful if we can insert a note for the previous month.
Currently, If I come across something that should have been added previously to a client's profile - I write the date of the note first then the note itself. but this messes up the timeline, in case I need to search the item by date I have to scroll over all the notes to find the note needed.
Can this be added to redtail.

task completed/appointment calendar
It would be great to be able to see task and calendar appts. still visible on calendar after being completed. Also, possibly adding feature to indicate if they were completed (maybe with different color).

LPL uses OnceHub
LPL uses OnceHub for linked calendar booking. It would be nice to have it integrated to RedTail. OnceHub only has Salesforce and InfusionSoft currently.

Add a "next" function
Please add a "next" function that would allow us to page back and forth between client contact pages in alphabetical order.

Undo calendar item move or have movement history
Currently in week view or day view on the calendar, an activity/task/appointment/etc can be moved with the mouse without having to go in and manually edit the item, this can be very convenient BUT if it is accidentally moved there is no way to know what the original time was. It would be great to have an undo move function, or a way to track the history of the previous time/date of the item.

Workflow List - Current Task Asignee
Have a column on the main WORKFLOWS page showing the current task assignee. Would be nice to filter by who owns the current task.

Orion Household Linking for Spouses
Currently, a contact in RedTail links to the Orion household with matching Tax ID. This is great, except when I try to link spouses to the household. Currently, the spouse would have a separate household. This is not practical since most couples want their assets together. Please look into the additional household members Tax ID being picked up for linking households in addition to the main Tax ID - or maybe there is a way to manually select a household to link a contact to.

Recurring meetings and synching issue
Recurring meetings and syncing issue.
I just called the help desk along with the owner of the company. When a recurring meeting is scheduled through Outlook, it is not populating or syncing with the Redtail calendar. Even doing a manual sync will not help. According to the rep we spoke with, this is a known issue that Redtail is NOT willing to fix. That is disappointing to hear as we feel that Redtail doesn't care for their clients, even though our rep said they did. If they cared about their clients, they would offer a discount for their product's inadequacy…3 votes -
Better Details When Hovering On Activity On Calendar
I was looking at what additional information showed up when you hover over an activity and the only new info was the attendee. For most people they only see their own calendars so that was obvious. It'd be more helpful if we could see the activity description when we hover as well as the activity type (in case we haven't memorized what each color means) and category.
