Please add security levels definable by user, for example, ONLY an admin user can alter or delete index lists or delete folders, or delete templates, etc.
Also, multiple security levels for various types of "rights".
Thank you

Would like to be able to add a password to individual files in imaging

Some of the users at my company could accidentally delete an important file, I am looking for a way to implement a "Read Only Function", a basic administrative rights function that prevents non-admins from removing documents and only allowing them to upload.

Pls make Redtail imaging folders password protected.

Being able to delete files in Imaging, without them even going into a trash can, somewhat goes against the purpose of having a secure location to store compliance related information. Or at least have the option of only giving certain people permission to permanently delete files.

It would be useful if we had a way to ensure that certain files could not be deleted or removed from Redtail Imaging. This feature would help us address compliance issues.

Imaging must have an option to password protect folders. I have a new rep starting, using the same database with imaging; we have files that he should not have access to see. I have been asking for a solution from RT for a few years. Is there anyway possible you can have programmers write a code so we could lock files?

Wow, this is the first time I"m seeing this request. Are you saying you want a password on EACH client file? Do you know who many files I have in imaging? Thousands! This cant be what you mean right? Now, this was posted in 2011 and markes "planned" 6 months ago, so it might not ever get done. I hope not if what I'm reading is correct.

I would add an interest in a role that does not have access to account balance / info, social security numbers and email content. I have an off sight scheduling assistant that would benefit from seeing notes and contact info but I can't give access to the other data - and she has no reason to see that data.

Add the ability to place a password on individual folders as well as files within Retriver for Imaging - think personnel or accounting files
