Allow there to be a way where you can designate a client (when an individual) as "Retired". Have a dropdown location in the Basic Info by the Employer or in the Contact Card. Then allow that be a filter one can use when creating tag groups and/or Quick lists. Thanks!3 votes
We recommend entering "Retired" in the job title for the contact. This is a dynamic list within the CRM, and once entered on one contact, the option for "Retired" will show when typing in the job title for future contacts. This is a searchable and reportable field!
Please make preferred pronouns an optional field that can be turned on or off. This is not a necessary field and doesn't need to be seen on all records.3 votes
Thank you for the feedback! If the field is not filled out, it will not display. Because of the visibility that is needed for this field on a contact record- it does appear within the basic information at this time.
Hello. We have a non-binary client and would like to use the salutation "Mx" but it is not available in the drop-down box. If you could add that it would be great since Mx represents gender-neutral. Thanks!3 votes
In the upper-right menu that displays once you click your name, it'd be nice to have an option to go straight into Manage Your Downloads area of CRM.3 votes
Already exists for both admin and non-admin users!
It would be nice to have a stream/timeline/activity feed/news feed on the today tab so that a user can see what other users are doing in the CRM during the day for things like a call, notes, tasks and calendar items instead of having to go to the individual contact record. This feature is available in Wealthbox and they have it on their "Dashboard"9 votes
This is currently a feature of the Today page called the “Timeline”.

When a client cancels and no show appointment or does not show up it would be nice to have the availability ability to "cancel" & "No show" appointment not just deleting the appointment.
We need to be able to track the people who cancel and do not show up for appointment.714 votes
This can currently be accomplished through the use of Activity Category and Activity Types. Reach out to our training team at email@example.com for more information!
There needs to be a different way to show a deceased spouse, other than through memberships. If you disconnect the deceased from being the spouse, they no longer show up on the Personal Profile Form. They should still be able to be listed as a spouse without having them print out on mail merges as well. This is a very touchy topic, and I think there should be more focus on this, and the formatting for it.451 votes
Our training team has put together some official recommendations on how to handle deceased contacts: https://help.redtailtechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/203977740-Client-Death
It would be helpful to have the option to link both spouses with all their info (SSN, Bday, email, ect) all under the Family Head. It is inconvenient to have to to enter the clients as two seperate intities when they share the same income and assets, etc. The family Head needs to have one quick way to enter all the spouses info. Also known as a "House Hold".647 votes
We've added features that make filling out family records out faster and easier than ever before! Here is more information: https://help.redtailtechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/203978350-Defining-Family-Relationships
Could Redtail generate a reminder email (or even text message) to clients 24-48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment? The reminder would be generated by the calendar appointment and be sent to the email or phone number within the linked contact screen.3,612 votes
While this is not a native feature of the CRM, we are excited to work with robust partners that are innovating in the fintech space that meet this need. GReminders is one such company that we recommend checking out.
