  1. schedule activity for last business day or first business day not just day of the week

    I want to schedule a task for the last business day or the first business day of the month or year etc. Only being able to set the task for the first/last monday, tuesday, etc. could create the task a whole week early or late

  2. Assiging multiple users to a task/activity

    Prior to your latest release, we used to be able to assign 2 users to a task/activity right when entering the task. Now we have to enter the activity, then go back into it to assign a second person to it. This leaves room for error and makes what used to be a one step process, a 2 step process.

  3. Hover over appointment for location details

    Please include location as part of the details that pop up when you hover over an activity on the calendar.

  4. calendar activities not showing the entire title

    Attention Redtail Team: The activities on the Calendar REALLY need to list the entire description of the activity without hovering over it. The text NEEDS to wrap!! Are you guys working on this? This has probably been the number one complaint since the update. We've already missed a few things for appointments because WE NEED TO SEE THE ENTIRE TITLE!! Please get on this ASAP!

  5. Why do I have to filter my dates in activities every time I sign into Redtail

    It should automatically stay that way. Another inconvenient time consuming thing in Redtail!!

  6. updating completed activities

    Why is there a save button when viewing completed activities - If you amend a completed activity and click save you get an error message telling you to uncomplete the activity first - If you can't save an update, there shouldn't be a button or you shouldn't be able to enter any information without uncompleting first.

  7. Activities / Workflows repeating on month, quarter, period end

    Need to have workflows and activities that can repeat frequency on month end, quarter end or a designated period end - i.e. this activity is to tie to the last day of each month - since the last day is either the 30th or 31st - not all months have the same ending date, so the way RedTail is set up today this is not able to be created - the fix is to have the activity repeat the 1st of each month, but that is confusing to our people

  8. Phoning List

    It would be really nice to have a feature just for calling clients. It would be a list of prospects or clients you are trying to make appointments with. It would allow you to click reached or not reached. It would also allow you to click "appointment made", bringing you to your calendar to schedule a good time to meet. It would also have a notes section so you can keep track if you left a message or not OR to leave information talked about during the phone call.   9. Email Notifications at Time of Activity

    We receive and email notification at the time the activity is created but we should be able to receive another email when the activity is to be started!

    This would be especially useful when an activity is created months ahead of time. Not everyone checks the overview regularly and it can also look very overwhelming when there are a number of activities. Receiving an email on the day it is to be started would reduce or eliminate the chances of an activity being overlooked.

  10. Dates on Open Activities list on client dashboard

    On the client dashboard could you please list the date for that weeks activities. Once it gets to the current week it only states that day of the week. But when I am trying to confirm appointments and am in the clients account I have to open the activity to verify the date. I would be nice if the actual date is listed for all activities, even the activities that take place on the current week.

  11. Include Phone number of contact on activities report

    On the activities Report It give me the contact but not the phone number I understand that when I am on the computer I can hover over the contact name and get it but I print my reports out and take them with me and then when I have a free minute or two I will make phone calls.

  12. Searchable activities on Dashboard/Today's Overview

    It would be good to be able to search Activities on Dashboard or Today's Overview to find particular activities for multiple clients (such as spouses or employees of the same company).

  13. Activity report based on date activity was created

    We would like to create an activity report based on the date the activity was created as opposed to the date of the actual activity. We would like to use this report in order to double check all the activities that were created each day and be able to look at a daily report of all activities added.

  15. Contact name should show first for activities

    The name of the contact should be the first thing we enter for a new activity. We prefer to use a simple flow:

    • Who's it for?
    • What's it about?
    • Who's owns the activity?

    When we open a calendar entry, the first thing that shows up is the Subject when the first thing we want to see is the Contact. Also, when our calendar gets full and appointments are stacked, we don't see names. It would be nice to see the client first from the Add Activity screen through the "More Details" screen for the activity.

    Maybe this can be achieved…

  16. Add a rolling reminder to contact a client X days after last contact

    Set a reminder or activity that automatically prompts to contact a client at a specified interval after the last contact. That is, activity automatically repeats 30 days (or 90 days, or 180 days) after the last activity is completed. Currently repeating tasks must be hard coded to repeat at specified intervals; they are not sensitive to completion of the last iteration of the task.

  17. Allow multiple activities to be created off of a single linked note

    Multiple activities may be activated by a single note. Why post the same note multiple times or enter the same text into each activity to have a linked note to each activity? This will streamline the notes section with regards to linking and streamline the process. Allows less manipulation by those assigning activities.

  18. Show Multi-day Activities in Today's Overview "Open Activities" Section

    If we add an activity to the calendar that starts on Wednesday and ends on Friday, it will only show up under Open Activities on Today's Overview on Wednesday. We would like it to show up on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

  19. Notes and account(s) linked within an activity

    Currently, when an activity that is linked to an account, has notes added within the activity, those notes appear in the notes section separately from the activity itself and the account which was originally linked to the activity is not linked to the note. I would suggest notes that are added within the activity get rolled up into the activity so there is one thread/history so all the separate notes that were added within that activity are bundled in one section with the appropriate account number linked to the original activity.   20. Bulk action to add all selected contacts to one new activity

    It would be nice if we could select multiple contacts from the search screen and add them all to a single activity via bulk actions. Right now the only option under bulk activities is to create one activity per contact, or to create a task and manually add each contact.
