  1. Delete unused activity types used by others on team

    I work on a large team and everyone uses different activity types, so when I create an activity I have to look through a list of like 30 activity types instead of just the five that I specifically use. It would be great to be able to customize my preferred activity types by deleting things that aren't relevant to me.

  2. Remove automatic consolidation of completed activity notes.

    New update makes completed activities on the main client page consolidate. This creates a ton of re-work in having to go back to open each closed activity to review recently completed activities. Please make this a default that can be turned on or off.

  3. Option to remove activity note consolidation

    On the main client screen, completed activity notes all condense and have to be clicked to open to review. Please make this a preference so it can be turned off. This causes a ton of re-work in having to open each one to review recent closed activities.

  4. Automatically turning a Client Review into an Activity

    I am currently automating a “Client Review” process for a financial client on a quarterly/annual basis. However, Redtail’s Client Reviews module does not allow for direct integration with the calendar — meaning you cannot turn a review reminder into a complete activity or associated notes.
    My problem is:
    When a Client Review is marked complete, the system does not automatically schedule the next review date or create an associated activity. So the question is: Does Redtail have a built-in integration, or is there a tutorial for:

  6. Add "Insert Date" option to the Text editor toolbar when creating a new Activity

    Add an "Insert Date" option to the Text editor toolbar when creating a new Activity. Practice360 from commonwealth had this feature and it is very helpful for when adding notes or comments to a task/activity. Helps keep track of who worked on what and when.

This would eliminate the need to exit the workflow or activity and separately access the client record just to retrieve basic information.

  11. Private activities identifier

    After performing a manual backup, we are receiving all activities, including those that are "Private." However, we need a way to identify these "Private" activities, as they are not explicitly marked as such and their permissions are not retained in the backup data.

    Color coding is quick to the eye and incredibly helpful when navigating, if that could be a feature for categories that'd be fantastic.

  16. Default all activities assigned to a specific Attendee

    There should be an option to set all activities created to a specific Attendee. If 99% of the activities you create get assigned to the same person, there should be an option to default all activities made by that creating user (regardless of using a template) to default to one attendee. Saves time and errors when attendees are not updated from creating user.

  17. Add attachments to Activity Templates so blank attachements can be used regularly

    Currently, there is no way to add template documents that would be used for repeated activities to those activity templates. Please allow the feature to add attachments of documents we would regularly use for our activity templates.

    When on a contact record. Give the ability to change the defaulted range from "Past Due & Next 30" to any of the other options shown on the activity page within the contact record.

  20. Add Alerts For Past Due Activates As A Reminder To Home Page on Redtail

    Adding an Alert activity for all the Past Due Activities would be a good reminder and beneficial to add to the Home Page on Redtail- If the activities become a week old. This would be helpful so you don't miss any activities that fall through the cracks, due to a busy day or if you had a sick day.
