  1. When I click on a client, about 1% of the time, it will bring up a different client.

    I will search for a client in the client search. Click on the client but somehow it will bring up a different client, usually a client I was previously working with. Our other programs, like Outlook and Box, never pull up a completely different file or email. Never. They should get on fixing this problem because 1% of the time is 1% too many.

  3. When and activity linked to a workflow via automation changes date

    When and activity linked to a workflow via automation changes date, the new date of the activity should be the new target date for the workflow. For example, if a client review gets rescheduled day-of for a week out and prep work is already completed, move workflow target date so day-of activities are on task list for updated review day.

  4. Can we get Redtail Speak to support secure texting, including attachments?

    It would be great if it is secure so that client can securely text their advisor copies of voided check, account statements, etc.

  5. Go directly to "Activity Details" when creating a new activity

    We want to be able to go straight to the activity details page when creating a new activity. This would create some efficiencies for our team (fewer clicks for activity creation) but, more importantly, it would reduce duplicate email notifications for activities.

    For example, right now, when we click "Add activity" and add the relevant details in the abbreviated "Create Activity" window, attendees get an "activity assigned" notification email as soon as we click "create & edit" and then another "activity updated" email once we actually have the opportunity to get to the activity details screen to add a description…

  6. Auto-create inferred Memberships

    Would love to see a popup window displaying INFERRED memberships based on the contacts existing family/memberships.

    i.e. Barbara and Paul are married and have 2 children. Upon creating an Aunt/Nephew membership for Barbara. A pop-up window appears asking if you'd like to create an Uncle/Nephew membership for Paul, and Cousin/Cousin memberships for their 2 kids.

    Bonus points if the window has dropdowns to change the membership types (for example from 'Sister' to 'Half-Sister') before confirming.

    Please consider this. It would be a massive time-saver!

  7. recurring activity selecting end date

    When selecting the end date for a recurring activity, how about putting the the start date in the calendar box? Currently it is November and I created a recurring activity for January. When I go to select the end date, it starts with the current date in November. There is no case where a recurring end date would be before the start date.

  8. KYC

    We need additional fields added either to Strategic Allocation Model or perhaps a New section called Suitability. Some of the fields we need are Secondary Objectives, Experience for additional investment types, Balance for Investment types, Special Expenses and SE Time, etc. Going back and forth between KYC and UDF is cumbersome.

  9. Additional/ Customizable Fields in the KYC Financials Tab

    We want to see more Tabs under the Financials. Secondary Objective, Additional Experience boxes for other types of investments, Special Expenses and Special Expenses Time Frame just to name a few of what we need. Please allow customizable fields in KYC/ Financials or a whole new Suitability section in KYC.

  10. Preferred Call Time & Phone Number

    If there was a small icon up near "Important Information" Red exclamation icon that was either a check or X based on information input on a client's preferred call time. When you hover over or click the icon, it could give you the next available preferred call time or the phone number the client provided for that time slot. When onboarding a client, we could ask for times they are usually available and times they know they are unreachable during the week.   11. Change "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields under contact details.

    Please make the "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields in the contact details more generic and add additional fields. For example:
    "Advisor 1"
    "Advisor 2"
    "Advisor 3"
    A third option would be great, the ability to rename these fields would be even better.

  12. AUTO SAVE COMMENTS JUST LIKE NOTES ARE AUTO SAVED TO DRAFT

    Especially in a client management system, notes and more specifically comments in notes need to be automatically saved so we can efficiently document conversations with clients or actions taken for clients.
    Too many times have I been typing a comment and i accidentally click outside the box and it closes and all the notes are lost.

  13. A quick daily/weekly overview of "notes" and/or "comments" made from the day/s before.

    My employer comes in every day asking what have we done and where are we with this person.
    If he could just open up Redtail CRM and click a tab and it would give him an overview of all the comments and notes made the day before, it would answer everything he needs to know.

  14. Movable and Customizable "Tiles" on contacts page

    Movable and Customizable "Tiles" on contacts page.

    In my case, we'd like to add "soft" profile notes such as "Client retired in 2019, likes to play golf, has a cabin in Flagstaff, daughter is a doctor in NYC, is an Arizona Cardinals fan" etc.

    Currently, we are putting it in "Important Information" but would like the "Important Information pinned directly under the Basic Info of the client.

  15. Create option to "freeze" the 'all day' row

    Please add the ability to "Freeze" the "all day" row in the calendar so that it holds at the top of the calendar even when scrolling to later times in the day. When scheduling for multiple users later in the day (so that you are unable to see the "all day" row), it is easy to forget when people are out of the office, it's a holiday, people are working from home, etc... If that row were frozen, far fewer scheduling mishaps would occur!!

  17. Provide an option to REMOVE THE AUM from dashboard

    I LOVE the AUM on the dashboard. It was great to see it grow over time. However, now I've switched BDs to Commonwealth and no longer have access to Albridge data. My feed will no longer update. For all the reasons it is cool to see your AUM it very much sucks to see a goose egg at every log on. Seriously, this could eventually be a deal breaker for us, Redtail.

    Allow the database owner to assign a user to run speak reports. Currently, only the database owner can run the reports. This is not helpful in the event of an audit as the database owner isn't the CCO.

  19. Family/Membership Custom Option

    Currently the system only gives an option to add dependents. Dependents would be classified as people living in the home. There needs to be an option for people linked to them to show up on this page as well. Currently our beneficiaries have their own profiles and we have to for into memberships to find out their connection. Maybe a customizable family section where one could create their own connection the the contact it is being added too. This would be a HUGE benefit to me. Thank you for considering this!

  20. Employee time clock

    I would like to see when employees log into Redtail each day and when they log out and use it as a time clock. This would be beneficial for HR with hourly employees.
