An error occurred while saving the comment I agree! I want to be able to schedule workflows just as I can schedule activities by dates. As an alternative or in addition, it would be great to be able to create an automation template that triggers when an activity becomes due. For example, I often have trading activities on the 15th of the month. I could create a recurring activity called trading for the 15 and would like to then set up an automation template to create trading workflows for various clients every time the activity occurs (not when the activity is added).

An error occurred while saving the comment Similarly I need to be able to schedule a monthly activity for 2 business days before the last day of the month (so trades settle for a distribution) or 2 business days before the nth of the month. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd Monday is not at all useful for trading, which depends on cash flows that are scheduled by specific dates or EOM. Trading may need to occur a specific number of days BEFORE the cash flow date.

An error occurred while saving the comment We need to be able to restrict recurring activities to business days just as you can do for a workflow so that reminders aren't popping up on non-work days. I also need a lot more control over scheduling for trading related activities. For example, money is generally scheduled to come in/out on the 1st or 15th of the month. For withdrawals, I need to trade 2 days before then for settlement to occur on time. So, I need to be able to schedule a recurring monthly activity for 2 business days before the end of the month.
This would be so useful! When an account is opened, we often need an account transfer workflow, a move money workflow, etc. It would be so useful if these were interconnected so that we didn't have to create one monster workflow that is edited or have a bunch of independent ones.
