The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher Tyler commentedI was going to utilize the opportunity notes by linking them to the contact as a work around for other RedTail limitations (i.e. not being able to link workflows and activities), but I found out that opportunity notes could not get linked to the contact after all. Now I am stuck with a highly fragmented process. Please help with Sean's idea!

An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher Tyler commentedIn addition to Drew's idea:
Tracking an opportunity in RedTail currently requires 4 layers; which are, opportunities, workflows, activities, and notes. There is currently a break in the overall process between the workflows and activities; in that, we can link an opportunity to a workflow and an activity to a note, but cannot link a workflow to an activity. Why is this? can you please create the ability to link the two so the entire process can be united.

I agree with Kerry's comment that any opportunity stage that is created with the word "Closed" should be coded to push opportunities from the active list to the closed list.
