    This is a MUCH needed feature, and it's been 4 years since this functionality has been broken.

    This is still a very desired feature. Currently the notes within the workflow step are not recorded anywhere on the contact record, but exclusively within the workflow steps. This means to go find steps about, say, Onboarding a client, we have to make about 6 clicks before being able to see those notes.

    Here's how I'd suggest going about implementing this:

    Allow a custom report type: "KANBAN Report" or whatever it may be. Allow users to select categories they'd like to include on the report, just like building a report filter right now.

    Eventually it would be great to be able to drag a box to the next column and it update the activity category as well, but even just displaying these and being able to click them to bring you to the activity would be fantastic.

    Would be great to have a workflow option as well, but being that workflow step notes disappear into the Ether, I don't know many offices that use workflows without a tandem activity for Onboarding processes or Review processes.
