  1. On a contact’s page, under Employer, it would be great to see everyone else who works at the same employer, without leaving the page.

  3. Add Multiple User Defined Fields to a single contact at a time. (not just the bulk contact option)

    Right now we can only add one UDF to a single contact at a time. It would be nice to be able to select multiple udfs at a time to a single contact instead of having to click 30 times to get all the udfs needed for a new client added.

  4. Workflow assigned to Servicing Advisor

    I'd like to be able to establish a workflow template where I can assign tasks to the Servicing Advisor field. Currently, you can only assign tasks to the Advisor Role but not everyone has access to fill that field out and it's redundant if Servicing Advisor is filled out already.

  5. Allow only zip code, or city/state to be entered

    You currently don't allow us to just enter in a zip code, it forces us to make up a fake address if we know their zip code. It's better to have something than nothing, so if all we know is the city/state or their zip code, why not allow us to enter that in Redtail without having to input a phony street number?

  6. date range

    Within the advanced search, it would be extremely helpful to be able to search date fields using a date range. For example, dates greater or equal than today AND less than 45 days from now. That would extremely helpful for building lists that do not have to be changed for a hard coded date filter. This would allow us to better search for upcoming reviews based on Know your Client fields.

  7. mark as not a duplicate record

    When running the Contacts by Duplicate Name, in addition to the merge duplicate record action, there should be an option to mark the records as not duplicates so the same previously reviewed records don't show every time the report is run.

  9. Contact-ability to set default for address type and phone type.

    It would save key strokes if we had ability to set defaults for address type (i.e., Home) and phone type (i.e., Mobile). Most all phones now are Mobile, not Home and system defaults to Home so we have to change it every time. Also the address doesn't default at all, so we have to enter the field every time we add an address. If we could set our own defaults to our most commonly used, it would save time. Thank you!

  10. Change to just "pronouns" instead of "preferred pronouns"

    I'm very, very happy that a pronoun section has been added in! I would love if it could be tweaked to just be "pronouns" instead of "preferred" since that infers that gender identity is a choice and not just who someone is. Thanks!

  11. Birthday Card Reminder

    Show on the Contact Card that Birthday Card Reminder is Enabled at a glance. This would be an easier visual for when you are on the client contact page, you can see if they are on the reminder list or not.

    On Contact Details to see if the birthday reminder is enabled at a glance. As of right now, you can only see it if you edit contact details. This way, if you look at the contact card it states birthday reminder enabled.

  13. being notified when entering a contact that is a duplicate

    I receive about 10 leads a month from a marketing lead source. As soon as I receive a lead, I immediately enter into RT by first name, last name, email address and phone #.

    There have been many times that I would receive a duplicate lead (without knowing or remembering) from the past. I wish that RT would inform me when a duplicate contact is being entered, specifically by email and/or phone #. I understand RT only informs of duplicate by EXACT first name, last name and tax id. Please considering updating and allowing at least email to be included…

  14. Add more Retriever Cloud Contact Phone number mappings

    Currently only Home/Work/Mobile will map to Retriever Cloud. Please add other options like Direct Dial, Fax, Other, etc.

  15. Please provide integration/syncing with CellTrust

    CellTrust is an application allowing financial services professionals to text with clients in a compliant manner. It would be extremely helpful if Retail and CellTrust could sync instead of having to manually enter clients in the CellTrust app.

  16. Add a UDF or text box to Contact Card

    Being able to add either a text box or a UDF to the Contact Card would allow the mobile app to see that data ie: username & password.

  17. Add toggle for Shared Family Contact Card Info to "not share".

    It's very cumbersome to fix this if user's don't need it. It would be great if for contacts that garner this automatically, to have a toggle to simply stop sharing rather than jump through edit hoops.

  18. Retirement Date - this would be great to see on the client's contact card.

    Create a field for Retirement Date. This would be great to see on the contact card, where we have listed their phone numbers, address, etc. Or somewhere easy to see on their client homepage

  19. firm level admin

    There should be a way to have the management team, compliance, etc to be able to view all records in Redtail without having to create a team. Teams are great for advisor level restrictions, but it makes no sense for management or compliance to have to be given permissions to view clients.

  20. Client Since calculation

    The Client Since field automatically calculates how long someone has been a customer, which is mostly nice except for Former Customers and Deceased customers. It would be good for the calculation to freeze when a Date of Death is entered; I also saw that in 2015 a Client Termination Date was added and that doesn't seem to exist anymore; it would be nice if this was still there and also froze the Client Since calculation.
