  1. Add more Automation Triggers

    It would be nice to have the following workflow triggering event.
    1. Account Status Change - If an account is marked closed it would be great to trigger a workflow.
    2. Marital Status change - This would be nice to trigger a workflow any time a client gets married, gets divorced, etc.

  2. Workflow Complete Triggers Additional Workflow

    Completion of one workflow should be able to be a trigger event to another workflow. This would allow an automated bridge to connect related workflows.

  3. Automations IF conditions...

    Why are we unable to use any of the IF conditions across the different trigger events? EX for a trigger event of Activity Added, I can only use IF conditions that revolve around Activities. A trigger event of Contact Status change will only allow IF conditions revolving around Contact information.

    What I need is the ability to have a trigger of an Activity Added allow me to use IF conditions from Contact info, such as category, status etc.

    Summary: If the IF conditions are available in one instance they should be available in all instances it seems.

  4. automation opportunity - Change stage updates contact status

    Using the Opportunities section is tedious. To help reduce all the manual inputs, when an Opportunity Stage is changed to Closed-LOST, have the system update the contacts Status to the appropriate category. It would also be helpful to have lost inactive. It would be great if, stage changed to WON, trigger automation to update contact status to client.

  5. If conditions true options in automation

    Love to see more options in the "If...conditions true" lists.. such as:

    Category = (A, A+, B etc)
    Date of birth is equal to, greater than, less than

    So much more can be done with these automations!!

  6. Expand Conditions for Automating Permissions / Roles

    Currently, you can automate Permissions when a contact is added for users and teams.
    Now that Roles can also be also be assigned during the contact creation process, this should also be an Automation Condition option.
    For example, when a new Prospect is entered in the system, if a user forgets to assign the Permissions / Roles, then they can be automatically assigned based on the Servicing/Writing advisor conditions.

  7. UDF automation action item

    If a status is changed (already trigger), then an a UDF (YES/NO) would be automatically connected as an action item.

    For example, if status is marked as "client", then a UDF saying asking about Newsletter opt-in would automatically put "yes". Then you can change for the exceptions since most clients want your newsletter.

  8. Workflow automation to create Activities

    The ability for the Workflow steps to automatically create Activities that can be assigned to specific users/teams. Also, the next step in the Workflow would not start until all of the assigned activities in the previous step are completed.

    The way that we see Workflows is that they are the "big picture" step-by-step guide & the individual Activities ("Tasks") are the place for the instructions & notes of that particular step.

    This would also alleviate the head ache of having to check your Activities list & your Workflows each day & in the past.

  9. Automation that would Trigger Roles being Populated upon Adding Servicing Advisor

    Upon entering a Servicing Advisor/Writing Advisor in contact record, RT would automatically populate the Roles field (of the 3 individuals for that Servicing/Writing Advisor's team). It is double work now to enter Servicing Advisor/Writing Advisor, then go in and manually complete the Roles fields for every new client record entered.

    Automation options exist currently to start up a workflow upon certain triggers (ie. a certain status created/updated). It would be nice if the criteria could identify more complex (if/then) updates to narrow down specific changes to trigger additional workflows (ie. status update from "comprehensive client" to "tax client" triggers a particular workflow vs any contact status update to "inactive" triggers another workflow).

  12. Add Automation Trigger for Account Status Change

    I want to know when someone marks an account closed in Redtail so it triggers a workflow that makes me clear out any account level UDFs and to see if that was a client's last account where it would then trigger them to be a former client.

  15. Automations: Change of Contact Status TO Create/Update Contact Tag Group

    We use MarketingPro for scheduled campaigns to our clients via email. The only way to set groups in MP from RT is to set up tag groups for each campaign. It would be GREAT if there were automations triggered when a Contacts Status is changed to one of our options to automatically trigger them to be added/removed or changed to the specific tag group. This way, our campaigns in MP are always up to date and current to actual contact status.
    Example:
    Contact Status updated to 'Former Client' triggers the 'Active Client' Tag Group to be removed.

  16. Automation based on UDFs/Dates

    It would be great if we were able to set up automation triggers based on if a UDF date field expires. For example, if we want to do a cash flow review every 2 years and we have a UDF that shows the date of the last cash flow review, it would be awesome to have an activity created once the last cash flow review hits the 2 year mark.

  18. Expand Automation Options

    Automation is great! I love the idea, but it needs to be expanded. In our office, we have multiple staff and advisers. Many of the staff do the same functions for different advisers. To keep from making some lists too large, it would be great to expand the ability that automation currently offers.

    Increase options for trigger events. Example: Client Review Date. It would be great to be able to automate a workflow based on the clients review date(s). This would create less work and tracking of the staff and advisers and make sure that clients are reviewed as often…

  19. Add a 'Contact Category Change' Trigger Event for Automations

    Just like the title states, adding a trigger event for Category changes would be incredible. Additionally, in the long run, being able to have unique trigger events, that are inputed by the user.
