  1. notification

    If an activity is created by user A and assigned to User B. It would be nice if when user B completes the activity user A could be notified via email as if there were an attendee on the email.

    It would be great to have a box selection for this when the creator generates the redtail and assigns it or that be the deault on the activity is created.

  2. Alerts for tasks others assign for you

    Is it possible to get some sort of ding or sound notification when you have a new task added to you instead of having to back and forth to the Today page and view it from there?

  3. Contact name hover over window customize-able

    When you hover over a contact name in calendar...a window pops up showing contact information like address, phone and email...I'd like to be able to have that window be customizable so that I could display the clients investment account balance at the bottom of the window.

  4. Current step due date is not correct! Please use DUE DATE under current step

    The fact that I am having such a hard time describing how difficult workflows are should explain the problem right there....however, the current step due date on the workflow list is inaccurate- it should be the CURRENT STEP

  5. Notes by Contact report

    Allow Note comments to be added to report by date outlined in filter.
    EX Original note date 07/14/17 Comments made on 08/01/2017 (notes report filtered for 7/24/17 thru 08/08/17. ) Though the original does not appear due to date filter,please allow the comment to appear in the report as it is within the filtered date range. AT this time the report only allows for recognition of the original note date.

  6. Contact

    When clicking on Contacts.... We have a limited number of view options: Name, Status, Category, Source, Type, SrvAdvisor, WrtAdvisor.

    It would be nice to be able to change those preferences as to allow for a quicker view.and customization.

    For example: a UDF Field, a phone number, an email, etc.

  7. unlinked accounts

    I'd like to see a column on the unlinked account screen that shows Rep # or Rep Name. This would be very useful for new employees who do not know the names of the clients and what rep they belong to. This will enable them to link accounts to the correct client for their particular Rep.

  8. Add "Referrer email" field under already existing "Referred by" Field or allow for a UDF of choice in Contact Details

    Currently if I wanted to send the referrer an email, I would have to:
    1. go to another contact and find email there
    2. Create a UDF which takes several clicks to get to and is in a different section

    It would be great to either:
    1. Allow user to add a field of their choice under "Contact Details" or
    2. Redtail to add "Referrer email" right under the already existing "Referred by" field

    This would allow for an email to referrer with just one click and easy to find

  9. in opportunity, show contact info when hovering over their linked name

    When on an individual opportunity allow the client's contact info to pop up when you hover over the name. Just like in an activity.

  10. Relocation of Important Information Icon

    It would be helpful to relocate the Important Information Exclamation Icon. When information is entered in the Important Information text box, the icon turns red....this is great, except that the icon lives on the right side of the contact banner whereas the User's eye goes directly to the contact name. Because the icon alerts the user to information they should review when accessing the contact, it would be very helpful to relocate it on the left side of the banner to get immediate attention by the user. This suggestion is being made after many conversations with Users.

  11. When using automation to trigger a workflow it would be helpful if that person was listed as the creating user in a workflow.

    When using automation to trigger a workflow it would be helpful if that person was listed as the creating user in a workflow. Currently it becomes a workflow but is unassigned. Example - if you change and address the address change workflow is triggered but it is not assigned to anyone because the workflow is assigned to creating user.

  12. Color code tasks from the Dashboard, not just the Calendar

    I would like to be able to see a color code based on my own input on the dashboard for my activities that day. (not just on the calendar)
    For example: if I have multiple trade sheets to process, I can make them all one color, easy to find and complete at the same time.
    Another example is tasks for calling clients, so those types of tasks are easy to find and do together after I have color coded them.

  14. Is there a way to only see recent client contact e-mails within Redtail?

    Currently I am unable to filter e-mails to and from my contact clients in Redtail. When I go to Redtail, scroll to reports then filter, all e-mails within last 30 days for example, I generate a list of all my e-mails from vendors, advertisement etc. Would like a way to filter only e-mails from my clients that have an e-mail address listed in contacts.

  15. work to add Equity Trust and Equity Institutional (Self Directed IRAs) to the custodian list.

    We are an independent Financial Advising Firm. We have a few dozen clients that have self directed IRAs. We would like to see the ability to have the account data show up in Redtail. We really like the way TradePMR (our main custodian) links in, so we would love to see the same thing with Equity Trust/Equity Institutional.

  16. Have Quick Add for Accounts to easily create new accounts for clients

    Adding a quick add button for accounts would cut down on the number of clicks necessary to create new client accounts.

  17. Optimize Tailwag to work with Microsoft Edge Browser

    Hopefully this is already on the Redtail agenda. Whereas Tailwag works in Edge, formatting is lost in activities. For example, hard returns are removed from formatting in activities for one big run-on sentence. Otherwise, many features work much better in Edge than IE or even Chrome. It's generally less buggy.

  18. Lilnking account information

    Are account documents eventually going to be linked to the accounts they belong to as they were previously under the Leapfrog system? Also, under the previous system when you entered documents into the system you could link them to an account under the edit function as well as rename the document. This is now a two part function. The system will not accept similarly named documents (ie: Withdrawal Request" "Beneficiary Change" PAC Change" This means if a client has more than one similar change on an account you have to either word it different or devise some sort of code…

  19. link phone numbers from email to CRM

    add a feature to link phone numbers from email to CRM. Our email is linked up to our phone so when someone calls in and leaves a message we are able to retrieve this from email. it would be nice to have the phone number linked to CRM just like email addresses.

  20. We are finding an urgent need to be able to add URLs and UDFs to the Opportunities link.

    In order for us to effectively assess the opportunity and update/add information to the same, we believe the ability to add URLs and UDFs would be a great feature.
