Role Based Access
Looking to add role based access for permissions for users within redtail. to not be able to have full access to social security and account informaiton within clients portal.

Contacts default view
When I click on "Contacts," the intent is to easily see all of my contacts. It would be nice to see the current list of all contacts from A-Z be the default view, instead of favorites. It seems trivial to click on "Contacts," then "Contacts A-Z," then "All," just to see my contacts. Again, if I'm clicking on "Contacts," my intent is to see my contacts, not a favorites page. This should be the default. We can go to favorites if we'd like. From there, it would be nice to have the previous improvement suggestion of sortable columns within the…

Advisor Team Views/Dashboards
It would be great to allow users to toggle between teams they are on. I work for an advisor duo and my permissions were originally set to just see their book of business only. Now I've been assigned to a global team which allows me to see the entire organizations book of business. I only need access to this one hour a week.
It would be nice to have the option to select which I want to view. This also is helpful in running reports as previously all my Quicklist reports didn't have to include an advisor, it was defaulted…

Adding a search function when moving documents from one place to another within Imaging
It would be nice to have a search function within Redtail Imaging when you go to move a file to another folder. Right now, when we look to move a document/folder to another place it asks you to scroll down the list until you find the correct household and then select which folder to place said document into. We have a lot of households, so moving just one file is tedious. If you could only add a search box to the top of the list, so we can search for a client, that would be very nice.

Change the default font to differentiate an uppercase I with a lowercase l. See the problem? IlIl...
The default font for the Redtail system has the same symbol for an uppercase I that it has for a lower case l. See the problem? IlIl those are two different letters alternating and yet one would NEVER KNOW. This has caused mailing issues when someone references the address to handwrite it on a birthday card. This should be fixed for everyone ASAP.

Redtail Speak area codes
I was excited to get set up and use Redtail Speak for compliant client texting, but I was really disappointed when my area code (210) was not available for Redtail Speak. Please keep adding area codes for Redtail Speak... with a special request for area code 210.

Add an authentication app option for two-factor authentication
Please add an option to use an authentication app (such as Norton VIP Authenticator or Google Authenticator) for two-factor authentication. IMO, it's much easier for the user., Most importantly, according to digital security experts, it's the most secure option for 2FA, which is clearly crucial for RT CRM, given the data you host.

international time zones
for those working outside of the US, it would be helpful to set the general options/time zone in preferences to the local time zone. all the actions such as new notes and calendar use the US time zone which is confusing.

Increase the number of Departments Customize Fields.
More customizable fields than just four for departments would be helpful. Name, email, online, phone, or contact. The majority of the departments I work with have phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, websites, and login credentials. The fax number is now shown to me under the Contact card on the right. I have to linger over the department fax number till the name displays in order for me to know whether it is the correct one. Having to look at twelve different work fax numbers strains my eyes greatly.

Add Google OAuth connection connectivity
Google has moved away from allowing less secure apps. Please add OAuth connectibility to allow us to send Google emails, particularly blast emails, from within the CRM.

Enable the ability to view your email password under email settings & preferences
Allow users to see what password they have entered when setting up email preferences to confirm the password was entered correctly.

Customize Interface
I would highly suggest to allow users to customize the interface. What I mean by that is, when I pull up a contact Past Due & Next 30 takes up 80% of the screen. Opportunities is the Number One Driver for new sales- so when Mrs. Smith calls and I go to pull her their contact I have to then click "More" on the left hand side and then click "Opportunities" to see whatever Opportunities Mrs. Smith has. That information should be right where Past Due & Next 30 currently is- what I would really like is to be able…

Give users the ability to change the tabs in the contacts view.
Allow users to choose which tab is shown first on the contacts pages.
Currently the "Past Due and Next" tab is shown. I want the "Notes" tab to be shown so that I can see the notes on a client, I do not use the "Past Due and Next" feature at all.3 votes -

Would like to be able to set the user order in the user dropdown list other than just alpha by last name

Allow the sidebar to be customized or rearranged
Our office doesn't use the the calendar in Redtail. We would like to be able to remove it from the sidebar. If it can't be removed, we would like to be able to move down to the bottrom.

Color options for layout
The new look it great, but WAY too bright. It would be nice to be able to tone it down a bit. With so much white space, it's difficult to read and strains the eyes.

PLEASE make an option to select my default on Privacy (I want it to default to Just Me)
Let people working in the same "office" select their privacy defaults so that if some information is confidential etc. we don't have to manually go through and select that every time I create a new activity

Need more contrast in the new CRM screen!
Give us the option to have more contrast in the new CRM screen. As a low vision person, I can hardly distinguish between the boxes. The very light grey type is ridiculously hard to see on both the calendar for those of us with already compromised vision. It is obvious that whoever designed this new screen didn't take into account people with vision disabilities!
