filter by occupation type
It would be helpful to pull a report for 'Referral By' by the contact type. For example, instead of listing the name of a CPA, just list 'CPA'. The same could be said for client referrals - once again, instead of the client name, just list 'client'. Furthermore, if it's a referral received from our company website, it would be nice to have 'website' listed.

Activities by Contact Report Should Have a Category Filter
My firm categorizes all clients via "category" - to develop appropriate service models for each client. It would be massively helpful for us to view all clients who have "schedule meeting tasks" (under the custom "schedule meeting" template that we've created), during a certain timeframe, AND to be able to filter that report by client category. I know this must be a fairly easy addition as it is in essence, just the inverse of the "Contacts with no upcoming activities" report.
The "contacts with no upcoming activities" report allows RT users to filter by activity type, timeframe, AND the category…

Activities by Contact Report - Add Servicing Advisor to Export
Please add Servicing Advisor to the excel/csv export of the Activities by Contact Report.
You can filter the visible activities by Servicing Advisor in Activities by Contact Report, but the export does not include the Servicing Advisor.

Allow the database owner to assign a user to run speak reports. Currently, only the database owner can run the reports. This is not helpful in the event of an audit as the database owner isn't the CCO.

When pulling a report, it would be helpful to pull using Primary Address only.
When pulling a report from Redtail, I would like to pull contacts based on their primary address only.

Active Contact Age Demographics
Active Contact Age demographics.
-Valuation analytics uses the average age of a practices clients to determine what the value of your practice is. This is very heavily weighted to determine the true value for succession planning and currently, Redtail only shows the age of ALL clients that have ever been entered in the data base, instead of just active clients.3 votes -
filter by completion date
Would like the ability to filter by completion date. Currently it only filters by start or assigned date which doesn't help if I wanted to see a report of all activities that were completed last month for example.

Contact Report with Photo
We would like to be able to advanced search for a subset of contacts and then run a report/export with the contact's name and the profile picture so we can refresh our memory and put names to faces well at a client event.

Edit the accounts by agent name report
Limit the viewing capabilities on the "account by agent name" report. Unfortunately, all account numbers and contact names are visible to every user through the account by agent name report.

Report with Activity Creation Date
I would like the Activity Reports to include a column for the Activity Creation Date. It is critical for us to be able to determine when an activity was completed in relation to it's creation date in addition to the start and end date which may be changed by users at any time.

Viewing reports/Scrolling left and right
I would like to be able to scroll left and/or right without having to go all the way down to the bottom of the page. OR if I have to go to the bottom of the page I would like to be able to freeze the top row so I can see which columns I am scrolling to. It is very frustrating to have to go to the bottom of the page to scroll left or right and then go back to the top of the page to see if you can see the column that you are looking for.

ability to filter UDF dates by greater than, less than or between for dates
Currently only allows equal to not equal to.

Add contactID(s) to the "Activities By Contact" report export.
The current export has a column named "Contacts" which provides the last and first names of every linked contact for a given activity. Can you add another column to this export with contact IDs? This would eliminate any confusion as to who was linked to the activity as it is possible multiple contacts could have the same first and last names.

activities report to show contact name
Please add a linked contact column to the Activities by contact report. That is the only report where I can get a holistic view of all activities whether they are assigned by me, assigned to me or assigned by others to others, but I can't tell who the linked contact is when I use this report.
Or alternatively, create another activity report that has the same columns as the Activities assigned by reports that can show ALL activites.1 vote -
Report field value formatting
When running UDF reports, the results that show on screen does not retain formatting (shows like html). Would be nice to be able to see the formatted results without having to print to PDF first.

Activities reports overflow
When I run any of the activities reports, some of the columns that show information overflow off the page and there is no horizontal scroll bar to reach the information. Can only reduce browser size with Ctrl & - to zoom out in order to see the info or use the arrow key which you wouldn't know to do so if you didn't already know there was more information to the right of the page.

create report aggregating clients by region or state
create ability either via report or otherwise to generate a list of clients or households, in aggregate; we need to see a summary of total assets by household either by state or by region (we would love to see a region field created, right now we use the writing advisor field to save this info)
