  1. provide a bulk delete option for contacts notes

    provide ability to bulk delete selected client notes. Over time we enter misc notes that are useful (called client left message to call back .. sent email ...etc) for a short period of time but after a few weeks or months they are no longer useful and clutter up the primary notes we want to keep for history. It would be good if one could scroll through and simply check notes for a bulk delete rather than doing each one individually.

  2. Import Tool

    Perhaps I'm missing something, but I find no area where I am able to do a custom import. It would be helpful to have the ability to import a CSV file to update contacts, workflows, activities, etc. Most CRM systems have this capability.

  3. udf automation improvements

    I would love to have the ability to automatically import all udf's I created when adding a new contact. Currently, I have to add them one at time for each new contact. Having this ability would also enhance the integration with Precise FP, since a majority of the fields I am importing/exporting come directly from the UDF's. Thank you.

  4. Lead list scrubbing

    When uploading a lead list, having the option to submit and "scrub" the list against the National Do Not Call List, and then have the list sent back with only the callable individuals.

    Salesforce was my previous CRM and they had this option. Would be great if Redtail would implement something similar.

  5. Prospect Email Blast List - Add "Assigned To" Field to Quick Lists

    Please add an "Assigned To" field to Quick Lists so that each individual Advisor can send Email Blasts to their Prospects (Status = Prospect), rather than to the entire firm's prospects. Currently, there is an "Assigned To" field in Opportunities, but no way to carry this field to Quick Lists. Thanks!

  6. Multi Select Move Tool in Redtail Imaging

    It would be nice to move multiple folders at once in Imaging instead of clicking each individual folder, waiting for the list to load and then move that one folder. Would cut down a lot of time.

  7. Attach document when creating bulk activity

    When creating activity from a tag group, I need to attach a pdf document. Right now, I have to go back to the individual activities after they are created to add the same document to each one. It would be very helpful if there was an option to add the document to the activity during the creation stage.

  8. Attach file in bulk notes

    I need to attach a file to multiple client records. I tried to do this through Bulk Actions/Note, but there is no option to add an attachment.
    This is necessary, we are entering notes in each client file when we review an investment. This often includes attachments

  9. Email Blasts - Birthdays

    Could it be possible to have the system automatically generate and send an email blast to the clients that are celebrating the same birth dates?

    Instead of manually having to setup an email blast and capturing the emails needed to send the celebratory greeting on a daily basis, the system would recognize the birthday/clients and send out the email automatically.

    This would save time, reduce errors, and create efficiencies with removing a task that can be automated.

  10. Exporting Email History in Bulk Actions

    Everyone hop on board and let's help add major functionality to the Email History Report.

    -We are currently using RedTail's email archive service.

    -We want our Branch Manager/FA/Owner/RedTail Email Admin(all the same person) to be able to review all electronic 'CLIENT' correspondence for a specified date range for 'ALL CLIENTS'..not just 1 specific client. (ie. the last month) (or for an audit, the last full year).

    -We can currently run an Email History Report for 'ALL EMAILS' that have been journaled to our archive domain. However, MAJOR FLAW, this report pulls all 'Internal Correspondence' and even Marketing/Junk mail that is…

  11. Bulk add in UDF section

    Would like the option to Bulk add fields to the UDF Section. We have 17 categories in the drop down that we add to new client profiles. Currently, we have to add one at a time for the client and then again for the spouse. Very time consuming.

  12. Restrict permanent deletions of records from the recycling bin to only Admin users.

    The recycle bin is vulnerable to having records permanently deleted by all users. This causes a risk to the firm if, in the future, the record is needed for the defense of a complaint or other issues.

  13. Add Ability to Bulk Re-Categorize Completed Activities

    Sometimes your organizational structure changes and would be nice to be able to change Categories and Activity Types in bulk on already completed activities. This way our reports will be more useful. Having to Uncomplete and Recomplete these activities is a pain. Thanks!

  15. setting permissions for multiple teams at once instead of in redundant separate actions

    Currently, whenever setting permissions to a bulk of contacts, one must add each team individually. For instance, one must select contacts, goes to contact options and bulk actions, then add permissions. At this point there is currently no way to select multiple teams as being permitted to view the selected contacts. Instead, one must permission each team in separate actions. To save users time and to reduce user mistakes, please change this to allow users to select multiple teams when setting a permission. For instance, I select 1000 contacts, and I want the following three Teams X, Y, and Z,…

  16. Select tasks from dashboard and send to search

    I'd like to have the ability to click multiple tasks from the Dashboard and send to search. For example, many of my clients have a regularly scheduled task to "Check in" or "Schedule Review". I want to be able to click them, send to search so that I can do a broadcast email to save myself (and others) a ton of time.

  17. bulk action

    I would like to be able to, via bulk action, remove the data from an already established account field (such as "Invested - Initial"), and move it to a new account UDF field (in that same account) for every account in our Redtail system. So, in John Doe's account # 12345, the field "Invested - Initial" says $100,000. I want to move that date value ($100,000) to a UDF within that same account #12345. And I want to do it for every account for every client in our RT database. Thank you for your conseideration

  19. Bulk Change Contact Type

    Please add a bulk action for when to change contact types. I have 152 "associations" that came over from an import that all need to be changed to "individual". It looks like I have to go one by one to change them

  20. List Management: Bulk Delete

    It would be very helpful to have bulk actions when managing lists. We are revamping how we do client status, category and source, and having to delete each individual status, category or source is not only tedious but taking an extraordinary amount of time. It would be awesome if we could simply select the ones we want to delete and delete them in a bulk action.
