Link different steps in a workflow to different clients
It would be nice to be able to link individual steps in a workflow to different clients. Sometimes a workflow involves multiple clients, but I don't always want to link the entire workflow to any one person.

workflow tasks on calendar
Workflow tasks on RT calendar should clearly state the client's name on the calendar entry so that advisor knows which client the task is pertaining to.

Short note in summary on workflow listing
We are trying to implement workflows in our practice. I like them except for the note process. I wish there was a way to put a short note in the workflow view that give a little more detail as to what is currently the hold up on the workflow item.
For instance, if the next step is obtain client signature, I wish there was a way to put a note as to when the last contact with the client was and what the hold up is. It would be nice to see this on the page with all of the…

Automatically Extending Workflow Dates Due to Outcome Selection
Allowing a workflow to change all dates (target and completion date) due to an outcome. For example, created a workflow with an outcome of following up in 7 days in the 1st step. If that outcome were selected, I would like to automatically extend all dates within this workflow by 7 days, including the target and completion date.

Workflow automation
When you schedule a review meeting and it triggers an automated workflow, we should be able to designate a due date on the template that is x number of days prior to the scheduled meeting.

add step to workflow inbetween completed and uncompleted steps
I would be good to be able to add a step to an existing workflow after it is started after completed steps and before then next in process step. Currently if this is done, the new step remains "not started" and the "in process" step is still showing as next task due.

Search Workflows by Text
I would like to have a way to search Workflows. I title my Workflows, but it gets lost among all the other 60 plus workflows listed. I would like the ones that are titled the same to stay together, or if they could be alphabetized. Currently it's just a hodge podge of titles, and it takes a while to find the one I'm looking for.

Adding Contact Role Advisor at Contact Level to Owner/Role Role/Advisor at Workflow Template Level
We are a 2-person shop with no staff. Some clients are joint while others are solo for either advisor.
At the contact record level under "Contact Roles" the Advisor is assigned solely to that client if a solo client and for joint clients one advisor is assigned as Advisor and other advisor is assigned as "Associate Advisor".
When setting up a workflow automation from a meeting creation for the client record, we'd like for the workflow to be assigned to the Advisor to then carry out all the steps of the workflow template. Currently, "Role/Advisor" at contact record level is…

Manual Task Due Dates
Manual Due Dates - depending on the outcome of the step can there be a way to create a follow-up to that step by the date you chose?
For instance -Scheduling a meeting: Contact client is your step and the outcome is left message. I need to follow-up and call the client again in 2-3 days or maybe 30 days because they are out of town. The way the workflow currently works now everything is based of the target date and depending on the day you call you can't use a set date from the target date as a follow-up.…

workflow task creation date
Add Workflow Task creation date as a field in the task. The field is auto-generated when the Workflow Task is assigned. When a Step is completed and the next set of Tasks is initialized, each of those Tasks should be assigned a 'Task Creation Date'.
When looking at open tasks, it would be good to be able to look at Tasks older than 90 days, 30 days, etc.
It would be nice to also be able to use this to auto-set Due Dates. That is, being able to set a Due Date of '5 days after Task created/assigned'

Change "complete" for Workflow steps and tasks to a button control rather than a simple text hyperlink. Users are confused and see the word "complete" after a task and assume that is the current state of the task/step. A button control is more indicative of something that causes an action.

With the change to the workflow templates editing/creating in Manage your account, it would be nice to see the entire workflow step just the same as we can see the workflow tasks in print. For example when we type in the step you can't see all the words but in the tasks you can see all the words above the text box.

Create a button to quickly minimize all steps and tasks in a workflow, so you can just see the overview. Make it a toggle button.
When creating or viewing a workflow, it would be so helpful to see all the steps and tasks on one screen. A toggle button that allowed for minimizing/maximizing all the steps/tasks would be incredible helpful.

Expand Input Fields in Workflow Creation
While I like the new format of editing workflows, the fields are tiny and you can't see all of the text in the field. The Step Name field is probably 12 characters wide. Also, the field width of the Outcome text is so narrow and squeezed.
There is also a lot of wasted white space on the page, and the UI could be more streamlined.

Permission settings for Workflow Templates and Tasks
Please allow us to set permissions on who can edit/change workflow templates and tasks once they are started. Right now, anyone can change/remove workflow templates. That is just crazy.

workflow report filter & export client addresses
Add mailing addresses to the export report from the workflow report listing.
Problem/Issue: We have a workflow with several steps for upcoming appointments. The first step is due 30 days before the client meeting - we mail a reminder card to the client ahead of their meeting.
NEEDS:
When running the Workflow Report, and exporting it to Excel, PLEASE add the clients primary/mailing address to the data that gets exported.
Once in Excel, we will sort by target date so we mail the card on the appropriate date. But we have to copy/paste the addresses manually from each clients' page.…

Workflow Email Notification Option - Way too many emails going out.
Allow a WORKFLOW NOTIFICATION OPTION in PREFERENCES that simply notifies team members when each "STEP" is complete, NOT whenever there is a minor edit to a name, a new task added (that they are NOT assigned to), etc. Way too many notifications going out to senior team members.
