forward email from email archive
We often have to follow up on clients that were contacted by someone else in the office. In this follow up email we include the original email that was sent. It would great to include a forward option on the email archive so we can open the email that was sent and follow up with the client to show that we have already tried to contact them.

add incoming emails from Synced account to notes for everyone to see
Be able to add an email that we receive from Synced account to the notes section, to save the email and also allow everyone on the CRM to see the email.

Add a recall button to emails sent to recipients. Other email host has this feature. It's great to have the email history/ archive but please add a recall button!

Emailing both contacts at once
It would be really nice to just click on one button and be able to email both contacts, such as a husband and wife, at the same time. Right now, you have to copy and paste, which is not very user friendly in my opinion.

Suite Sync Email Sync
Suite Sync: Synced Emails: Make these viewable by all users rather than just the user who directly generated or was copied on it. It's important to have historical emails available to staff and other advisors on the team.

Have a RECALL feature on your hosted email.
It would be great if Redtail Webmail would allow us to recall an email that was sent. Quite inconvenient not to have this feature.

default email
When entering a contact, you enter an email address. You should NOT have to check a box to make it default. Just have the system treat the first email entered as the default and if we want to change it for contracts with multiple emails we can. But I was just told for a few thousand contacts, i had to go into everyone and check the box if I now want to use the broadcast email feature...what? first entered email should automatically be default.

Create workflow or task from email
We should be able to create a task or start a workflow from an email that comes in and is linked to a contact. In general, I think the email integration with Redtail needs a rehaul. I think working with an external email partner like Nylas API will help get better results from connecting the email to the CRM.

Allow Assistant to Access Email
Allow assistants to access email with Google Authenticator/TFA so they don't have to get a code from us each time they enter.

Manually choose which email gets recorded on the contact record
Select email from personal email account to redirect to client record in Redtail CRM archiving.

Update the email hosting to allow for the ability to send an email over 20mb in size!
Not being able to send an email over 20mb in the financial and insurance industry is not acceptable. Clients shouldn't have to worry about unzipping files and advisors shouldn't have to learn work arounds. All of my product partners can send me stuff over 20mb.

Feature to manually link Redtail email to a Redtail CRM contact.
Salesforce CRM has ability to manually associate an email from any source to a specific CRM contact. We are users of both Redtail CRM and Redtail eMail. When discussing a specific client case with a third party (ie our BD service team) I would like to be able to link that email conversation to the client's CRM contact record. Was told the best way to do that is to copy and paste the email into notes. That seems onerous at best. Can your developers create an option to allow for manual selection of email to CRM contact? Thanks.

With two step authentication, it would be nice to have two users
It would be nice to have two users for the two step authentication. Can you create a way for someone to give permission for someone else to access their email account.

Emails search
I need to be able to search clients WITHOUT an active/primary email. The search "without email" leaves out those elderly clients who no long able have an active email or don't communicate via email. We have archived their email to save email history but then by default we leave them off our call list because they are left out of the search client WITHOUT emails because system is picking up the archived email - which isn't active anymore.

Email preference to save all emails as notes
Would like to have a preference setting to enable emails to save as notes. Clicking the setting would always create a note from the outbound email. This idea instead of manually selecting the box at the bottom to save as a note.

Filter email by attachment
It would be helpful if we could filter email history by whether a message has an attachment. Finding a message with an attached form or other document is still fairly cumbersome inside RedTail.

creating a follow up task or activity from a archived email from a client
We would love the option to attach a follow up activity/task to a archived email from a client. Currently we can do this from notes that a advisor has entered into Redtail but we would like this option from an email received from a client.

Adding Third Party Emails to Client's Email History
You should be able to "tag" a client with posted emails. For example, if I am emailing a wholesaler about Client A, I should be able to have that email chain show in Client A's notes and/ or email history without having to copy and paste everything. SmartOffice, which is antiquated, even has that feature.

Allow for a window popout for new emails in modern email interface
In the classic email mode, you can enable to have new emails be composed in a separate browser window. This way the new email can be separate of the inbox and be moved around the computer screen.
I would like to propose that the same feature be added to the modern email mode.

Email Archiving should have an option to capture only email to or from a contact rather than capture every email from a RT user.

We already have a robust email archive platform in house and don't need RT archiving email that isn't a client or contact established in the system.
Furthermore; there should be an option to allow other users to view client/contact email sent to another RT user within the firm since all contacts are technically property of the firm.
The current situation is to give email admin rights to a user, but that allows whoever has those rights…
