  1. client ID

    It would be helpful if each client's unique Redtail auto-assigned ID number was auto-populated as part of their contact record. This could be used as a unique identifier with other outside integrations such as Hubspot

  2. Employer Information Feed into Client Contact area

    Employer information should feed to the client contact area. This would take out the added step of navigating to the employer record to view this information, and manually update any contact card information on the contact that lists the employer address/phone number.

  3. business contact name

    Under the business name, have a couple lines to put the business owners name and the direct contact person.

  4. Custom mailing labels

    We have mailing addresses for each client. Please make it possible to run labels for this address rather than the default home address.

  6. Delete Warning

    Please consider adding a WARNING pop-up window with "confirm action" related to deleting contacts or accounts!

    Example: while recently experimenting with TAG GROUPS, I created a test group and added a client.

    Clicking then, on View Members, He was there, and I thought great. Except he was a test member. Wanting to remove him from the Tag Group, from the list view I then clicked on the down arrow in front of his name and scrolled down to DELETE (which I would have assumed meant FROM THE LIST)

  8. Track Who "Booked" the Client on Contact Card

    We track who initially booked and scheduled prospects through Opportunities, and we also track go forward. Can we add a line on the contact card, so that we can see this front of view vs having to click into the OT?

  9. Edit all data on contact card by only pushing edit once

    Instead of having to edit each different contact number, address or email separately, have the edit button open the whole box and be able to edit everything easier.

  10. show all family members on contact card

    allow us to view and click all family members directly beneath any contact instead of having to create a membership which is NOT visible on client dashboard and without going into the family tree. TOO many clicks. To be able to click on any given family member and NOT only the Spouse. The interaction to all allows us to use the CRM in the manner we need. Alot of clients have family members as health care proxy, etc and we have to search outside of CRM to find that name and then return to CRM search for that proxy and…

  11. Allow Non-Admin to Add Permissions on NOT Permissioned Contacts

    When contacts are created and the permissions are not set, either because it was initially omitted or if the contact was created automatically by the system, it would be helpful if all users would still have the ability to assign the permissions for them. Requiring an Admin to go in and assign permissions on everything that is not set at the initial stage, is tedious and unnecessary. Please allow "NOT Permissioned" items to be assigned by anyone.

    Using this sort for a Quicklist, it sure would be an improvement if all those listed under/after the Head of Household were simply indented by 3 or 4 spaces . . . so much more visually effective:

  13. Simplify and Improve "Householded" Visual Representations, Screens and Reports

    The limitations of Redtail's ALL BY ALPHA method of displaying "Contacts" is very non-useful when needing to view "Householded Contacts" and "Householded Account" data.

    We can certainly create various Quicklists to sort for and display our various categories of clients (A, AA, AAA-1, AAA-2, etc.), but there is no way to click a few buttons and get a display of ALPHA Head of Households, with the spouse <sometimes male, sometimes female, sometimes same gender> SIMPLY INDENTED BELOW the head of Household. That would be SO simple and SO helpful, and so OFTEN utilized!

    There's got to be a simple, straightforward…

  14. Contact Record

    Contact Record - when adding an employer, a new contact record is automatically created for the employer/company. The status is listed as non-specified. Would like to see RT automatically list the company as BUSINESS or EMPLOYER. I am cleaning up our database and I have tons of NON SPECIFIED records. If I delete the record, IT DELETES IT FROM THE CLIENT'S CONTACT RECORD. Not good... Also, if i change the status of the client to prior client or if I delete a client, the contact record for the employer still remains. It should transfer along with the client contact record.…

  15. Allow required fields on the contact record, if not completed can't save the contact

    It would be great if we could require certain fields on the contact record for that record to them be saved. This would reduce missing data and streamline the Redtail process.

  16. Post it note pop up when on client

    Please add a way to attach a post it note to the client record so when you open the client record the note pops up right away with out having to look through previous notes.

  17. new field on client record

    We are a pet friendly firm using a pet friendly CRM (Redtail) and we have a LOT of pet friendly clients... We would LOVE to have a field to enter those clients pets and their names for easy reference when speaking to our clients!

  18. add field for client pets and their names

    Please add a field for client Pets with their names! We are a dog-friendly firm with a lot of pet-friendly clients and we use the best dog-friendly CRM around... So, we would love to be able to add client's pet type and name to a field so we can reference their pets by name quickly when chatting with clients in the future. :)

  19. Time Stamps on UDFs

    It would be helpful if we had a time stamp for the last time a UDF was updated next to the UDF. It would not be part of the Excel sheet data if we were to pull a report using a Custom Export with the UDF on it. It would just be to tell the last time that field was updated for the database users.

    Please make preferred pronouns an optional field that can be turned on or off. This is not a necessary field and doesn't need to be seen on all records.
