  1. by default, Provinces in Canada automatically show up when contact Country is Canada as well as ID for Passport or DL

    If contact record is Canadian, all fields related to contact should default to Canadian option. If an address is indicated as Canadian the default province option automatically show up. These same options should apply to Drivers license, passport and other KYC options We have a Social Insurance Number used as ID as opposed to social security or Tax ID. Our format is 9 digits with spaces every 3, similar to tax ID area.

  2. Preferred Call Time & Phone Number

    If there was a small icon up near "Important Information" Red exclamation icon that was either a check or X based on information input on a client's preferred call time. When you hover over or click the icon, it could give you the next available preferred call time or the phone number the client provided for that time slot. When onboarding a client, we could ask for times they are usually available and times they know they are unreachable during the week.   3. KYC

    We need additional fields added either to Strategic Allocation Model or perhaps a New section called Suitability. Some of the fields we need are Secondary Objectives, Experience for additional investment types, Balance for Investment types, Special Expenses and SE Time, etc. Going back and forth between KYC and UDF is cumbersome.

  4. Additional/ Customizable Fields in the KYC Financials Tab

    We want to see more Tabs under the Financials. Secondary Objective, Additional Experience boxes for other types of investments, Special Expenses and Special Expenses Time Frame just to name a few of what we need. Please allow customizable fields in KYC/ Financials or a whole new Suitability section in KYC.

  5. Portfolio Balance = Total Family/Household balance

    I think it would be extremely beneficial to have a setting that we could be able to see the HOUSEHOLD total balance on the top right where it shows "Portfolio Balance" instead of just that client. Also, it would be nice when creating an activity and trying to link an account to have all of the household accounts show up instead of just the accounts of that specific client.

  7. Client Review Dates

    Have "next review" be the actual date we schedule with the client for his or her next review -
    Have a "next review due" for when they should be due for their next review
    Have a "last review" field as well
    Have these right where the "next review" currently is so if a client calls in we can quickly retrieve this information. Currently, when we create an activity for his or her review we have to locate that activity (especially if it's planned well in advance)
    Then we can easily export and see who is due for a review

  8. Change Retirement Date Field to "Left Employer"

    The Retirement Date field should be retained (somewhere), however, I would like to see a "Left Employer" field. Just because they don't work there anymore, it doesn't necessarily mean the person retired. We handle a lot of employee benefits and it would be great to have a field for their end date.

    Yes, I know we can use a UDF, but those don't work with Quicklists or Automations.

  9. Financials

    I love the idea of adding the tax and net worth information for a client. The one addition to this section that would make it great is to be able to add a date. This information can and will change from year to year so knowing that the information is recent or dated and probably no longer accurate would be a big improvement. I hope this minor upgrade will be made. Thank you for your consideration.

    Under Know Your Client/Identifications.
    When you choose Passport – Under the State option, you should be able to choose the Country of the passport. I have one client that it would be USA, but there is another client that it would be India. It would be great if I could add to the pick list under State category.

  11. Know Your Client Options

    There are a few categories under Know Your Client. It would be nice if we could add or remove different categories customizing them to our own business. This way we could better keep track of information for our clients. Ex. having a section for beneficiaries and another section for alternative addresses or trusted contacts or having a section for special notes.

  12. Add a date field under Financials in the Strategic Allocation Model section

    Having a date field in this section would be great. Understanding risk tolerance needs to be updated every three years, this would be an excellent option to add so we can track when the risk tolerance paperwork will expire.

  13. Have an Interest Rate Field for Liabilities

    When entering a liability for the Net Worth, it would be nice to have Liability Type and an Interest Rate. With this we could search our database to see which clients have mortgages that need to be refinanced when rates drop.

  14. Employer

    We would like the Client to have an Employer card much like the Contact card, that doesn't create a new contact as many of these ideas have also suggested. In redtail we have to put Employer under their name in the top of screen and job title. The Job title does NOT transfer into the know your client professional tab or profession?? Is there a way to get this all to show in one place via a Employer card? We need to know our clients employers and how much they make and all but to have to look into multiple…

  16. Financials' Section - Customizable Labels

    Make the Labels in the Financial Section Customizable for whatever type of financials are important you. For example, we wouldn't put a specific Strategic Allocation Model into a clients profile because they might have several different accounts with different models. We personally would like to use those fields to show a clients Income Sources and amounts. Those labels should work like UDF's where you can put in whatever types of Financials your group is tracking.

    Make the written agreements area editable, so that additional agreements/announcements can be added with dates (Trusted Contacts, Form CRS, etc). Sort of a one place to look that compliance requirements are met.

  19. Adding the most recent Notes listed to clients on reports

    As we need to track our interaction with our Senior Clients (62 years+) per the SEC, it would be nice to be able to have the most recent note come over on reports (ex: RMD reports, client reports by age, etc.) so that we can generate a report, show the last contact had with any notes that are entered and save for auditing purposes.

  20. Drivers License number

    It seems really strange for the drivers license number to be found in the know your client section and not in the important information or contact details area.
