  1. Run a Notes report with select notes only

    Often time we come across a situation where there are a few notes spread over a few months for a client that would be great to condense into one single report to outline the process.

    'd love to see the ability to 'check' which notes to include in a report so we can print of a string of notes pertinent to each other and remove the extraneous notes for ease of viewing the progression of a task.

  2. Notes and account(s) linked within an activity

    Currently, when an activity that is linked to an account, has notes added within the activity, those notes appear in the notes section separately from the activity itself and the account which was originally linked to the activity is not linked to the note. I would suggest notes that are added within the activity get rolled up into the activity so there is one thread/history so all the separate notes that were added within that activity are bundled in one section with the appropriate account number linked to the original activity.   4. Dependents and divorced parents

    It would be nice to be able to add children as the dependents to both spouses in the event of a divorced couple (household page). Every arrangement is different and it would be helpful to be able to see the "family" under both ex-husband and ex-wife.

  5. Keep formatting on notes in Timeline

    I make neat notes with bullet points, but the timeline view takes away the formatting which makes my notes look ridiculous and incredibly hard to read. I format my notes to make them easier to read/make information more accessible. Please give me the option to keep my bullet points/bold font/ etc. in the timeline view.

  6. Break out Income more so we can differenciate Earned Income, Social Security, Pension, and Other to align with reality of financial planning

    Instead of just using "Adjusted Gross Income" under the Financials section of "Know your Client" please add additional breakouts for earned income, social security, pension, and other! It is very important for advisors with fee-based and planning based practices to record the breakout...not just one figure, and going through the trouble of making User Defined Fields when not necessary is inefficient.

  7. Team attendees for calendar event

    Would like to be able to create a team of attendees for a scheduled event instead of having to list all users in our office.

  8. Warning when sending attachment

    Redtail does not prompt you with a warning when an attachment is to large for an email. Instead it sends out the email without the attachment, and no notification.

  9. Reminders for Account Renewals

    In the leapfrog version when you clicked on account renewals you'd see a list of contacts with accounts that are coming up to the renewal date. In Tailwag you just see account numbers and no contact names unless you click on the account # to get more information. It would be more useful to see a list that shows contact name not just account number.

  10. Automation for Linked Contacts in Family

    It would be great to have the ability to create an automation for one client based on a change in another client's contact record. For example: a client passes away and their status is changed to deceased. Based on that change an automation would add a workflow to the surviving spouse's contact record. Since different tasks need to be taken for the deceased and the surviving client, it would be helpful if a workflow could be added for them as well.

  11. ABILITY TO INCLUDE INSURANCE POLICIES ON CRM

    On the left hand side include a place where we can enter insurance policies (life, LTC, DI, etc) and annuities held. This would show a more complete financial view of client/household. I am happy to submit a template for information.

  12. Add the ability to include calendar information in email templates.

    I utilize a template to remind clients of upcoming meetings and it'd be great if the date/time could be automatically included in the email based on what is in my calendar.

  13. Add a client fee section to the client profile to I know what I am charging them

    Adding a client fee and estimated annual revenue section to the client profile would be very helpful so I can quickly reference what the client is getting charged as well as pull a report for how many clients I am charging 1% and how many clients I am charging 0.5% or pull a total projected revenue report etc.

  14. family email history

    We would love to see the option to select family email under the email history like we can under notes and accounts. That way we can see all contact for both spouses.

  16. Improve contact search.

    When I search for a client using first and last name, it won't show results if the contact card has a middle initial and i didn't type that in.

    For example, if the contact card says, "John Q. Smith" and I search for "John Smith" no results come up.

    Can we also have it show suggestions/similar names? If I don't know how to spell a name and am only off by one letter, can it suggest names like Google does?

    Ex: If I search for Smoth, could it say, "showing results for "Smith" instead."

    Some people have terrible names that…

  17. Bulk action to add all selected contacts to one new activity

    It would be nice if we could select multiple contacts from the search screen and add them all to a single activity via bulk actions. Right now the only option under bulk activities is to create one activity per contact, or to create a task and manually add each contact.

  18. Quicklist User Specific

    We should have the ability to make quicklists only show up for ourselves. I don't want to see everyone else's quicklists, which pertain to their clients. I only want to see the quicklists relating to my contacts and clients. The list gets too long and it's annoying to find the quicklist that I want when I have to sort through everyone else's lists also.

  20. Filter indiviual advisor's client's birthday reminders.

    On the calendar, add the ability to filter out a specific advisor's client's birthday reminders.

    Ex: In the Richmond, VA office you could have a choice to just see the Richmond Advisor's client's birthday reminders on the calendar.
