  1. More control over password requirements and longer/complex passwords allowed

    We are having HUGE issues with the 90 day password change requirement AND the short 16 characters allowed.

    TheNational Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) changed their guidelines in 2017 to say that more frequent password changes do not help, but longer passwords do. LastPass, Dashlane, etc. all state the same.

    RedTail has some of our clients most private information, but the restriction of 90 days and 16 characters is ridiculous. Change it to 40 characters and 180 or 365 days.

  2. Date of Death and Termination Date do not show on Personal Profile. Would be helpful for archiving records.

    This would be helpful when archiving records. It is reasonable to delete inactive and deceased clients from Redtail.

  3. Opportunities on RT Calendar

    It would be great if your assigned opportunities would show up on your RT calendar just like you can choose for your tasks or appointments to show on your calendar. This way you can work the opportunities step as a task for the day, versus having to set up a separate task for each step of the opportunity.

    We have clients globally and the lack of time zones is really problematic in using the CRM fully.

  6. Automatically Create and Email Reports to User in Recurring Schedule

    Save Filter in Activity Reports and possible automated report generation?
    When we want to apply a filter to the "Activities by contact" report, we would value the ability to save a particular set of parameters for our filters that we can run on a systematic basis (daily, weekly, etc).

    Even further wishful thinking would be to be able to schedule this report to be run and emailed on an automated basis.

  8. Notify users that an opportunity has been added

    When and opportunity is created, users/assignee should be notified. As of now, the only way one would find out that there is a new opportunity is if they click on the opportunity tab.

  9. Automation Based on Client Marital Status Change

    Add "Contact Marital Status Change" as a trigger event for automations. That way we can trigger a workflow to see if the contact wishes to change their beneficiaries, send a sympathy or congratulations card (depending on whether their status changed to widowed or to married), and contact the client to see if they would like to update their financial plan.

  10. Glitch when multiple users on same Task

    If two people have the same task open at the same time the second person who saves the task overwrites any information entered or changed by the first person to save the task.

  11. Send Opportunities Notifications

    Have the system send out an email to the person an opportunity is assigned to as a reminder that it needs to be followed up on.... this was previously posted and said that it was completed, but it actually was not.

  12. Deceased Status & Death Date on Personal Profile

    I would love to have the Death Date and the status of Deceased on the personal profile, i hate the idea of disconnecting a family and not have the deceased spouse on the personal profile so this would help with that

  14. Add Rate Class field for ALL life insurance types

    Why is there not a Rate Class field for Universal Life policies including Variable? There is for Term Life but not for these. This information is important for any type of life policy.

  15. Membership

    Allow me to add a membership the way I would add a spouse under a family-if the contact doesn't already exist, allow me to create it from that drop down. Currently, if the contact does not exist, I need to leave the page, go create a contact and then add it to membership. There are SO many steps-please work to alleviate steps in all processes.

  16. Add the Automation Condition field - Created By

    Please add the Created By field for the automation condition.

    This way I can create a template for permissions that says to assign a certain permission to a Contact/Note/Activity if it was created by a specific user.

    This would completely automate all of the permissions in my database for the 20+ users we have.

    Also please add the action for when notes are created.

  18. Enable/Disable Birthday Reminder

    You need to add way more automation triggers and activities that an automation can launch. For instance, the ability to be able to add or remove a birthday reminder would be useful. There are loads more that people have suggested, you just need to look.

  19. Account Nickname

    Under the client account section on the Account Card can you add a field that is called "Account Nickname" And have this field be part of the "Accounts by Contact" export. We use account nicknames in addition to the account numbers around the office as to designate the account without having to remember a crazy number that is different from custodian to custodian. Thanks

  20. Daily Activity Summary Email

    It would be very helpful if you could receive an email at the start of the day with all of your scheduled tasks/activities.
