Link email to notes/activities
We already have the option to link accounts, contacts, and notes to activities. It would be nice to be able to link client email's to a note or activity to link information/completion of tasks.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

When I need the email I just do control 'c' to copy the email and control 'v' to just paste it in. But a button to send it to notes from CRM would be really great. That would save so much time! I like the idea a lot.

It would be great to be able to "Save an Email as Note" from the email history. Things get buried in the email history. Also allows for comments and to then create a linked activity. Much more functional in an age where so much work flows through email.

Show recent client emails on client profile page
Currently client email correspondence is buried through several clicks on the left-side menu of a client profile page. Why not include a checkable box on the home client profile to include recent email correspondence with the client in the timeline? Something like this would be very helpful; it would eliminate the need to duplicate important emails by writing new client notes. I want to be able to see easily when the most recent client interaction was.

Redtail is our webhost (Zimbra Exchange Server). It would be nice to have email mapping less than 24 hours to hit a client contact record. It did not take 24 hours in Leapfrog. Very frustrating to have to go out and log into the exchange server email history to see status.
This should sync at a minimum every 15 minutes like Retriever does.

It is inconvenient to view emails in a separate section and open each one to review. This is the ONLY feature I liked better about SmartOffice functionality.
