Enable user defined fields to have a customizable order
I think it is key to enable user defined fields to have a customizable order, not just alphabetical. This would allow users to format and better fit UDF's to their specific needs. I know that we are evaluating other options for our CRM needs because of the lack in customization with UDF's, if there were more options on this front, it would allow us to stay with Redtail.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.

Again, if you allowed users to make a "Group" of user defined fields, this could take care of the order.

It would be great to customize order of UDF fields...Maybe even have separate title sections so you can categorize them as needed so its easier to view.

Agree - the ability to sort and categorize the UDF's would be extremely beneficial. Also, the ability for the sorting to remain in place when printing the report in PDF would be ideal. Currently the UDF's revet back to Redtail's default settings when printing to PDF.

We have several UDFs we use for client accounts. It would be nice to sort/re-order the UDFs, depending on what the advisor wants for a particular client. Perhaps a click-and-drag or up-and-down arrows to move the order of the UDFs. Not necessarily alphabetical. At the moment the only way to rearrange the UDFs is to delete them all and re-enter them.
It would be nice to be able to sort similar UDFs into Folders.

I would like to be able to organize the order that UDF's are displayed in. Right now it seems they can only be listed alphabetically. Let me know if I'm wrong... but I would appreciate a drag drop capability if possible. Thanks!
