Option to NOT notify existing activities attendees
We get so many activity update email notifications that it would be nice to have the option of NOT notifying attendees for minor updates to an activity. Just like Google calendar offers the option to send updates to existing guests or not. It will minimize emails and notifications to only those that are deemed necessary.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

We've recommended our organization not use Suite Sync due to the lack of control over "Guest User"/Attendee notifications. When Teams or outside meeting invite is used, "Guest" emails are automatically logged in activity as a User/Attendee albeit they're outside of your organization. Thus, you cannot control their notifications. We've had frivolous activity updates go out to over 100 "Guests" on an activity by accident - what if private notes were entered??. There is too much risk in this functionality to use and we don't recommend synch feature until this is changed.

Getting so many email notifications has also created several more emails for OSJ to review each day. If we could cut down on the email notifications, it would be very helpful for him.
In our old CRM, we did not have to rely on email notifications. We got alerts WITHIN the system and we were able to view the activity in real time vs. getting multiple emails on changes. (This is one thing we HATE about Redtail. Our old CRM handled notifications so much better.)
