Custom Export from Reports
I would like to be able to custom export from the accounts by contact report and other reports so I can get the information I want for the items in the report from the applied filters.
for example, in the current report, I cannot filter by or export the issue date
and if I use the search, then ALL accounts export and I do not want that- I only want accounts of a certain Type and status in the results.

More information is needed internally before a decision can be made. Nothing is needed from Redtail clients at this time.

I also asked the help desk about this and was told it was impossible. The custom export is a great idea, but it needs a lot of work. Somehow, we need to be able to apply the filters we set to the custom export.

Part of my job is to contact clients and set up annual reviews based on the issue date of their policy. When I do a search, I can get it specific enough by contact, BUT it doesn't export the information I need to the file, which is just policies that are issued in that specific month. Instead, it exports every policy for that client. Many of our clients have multiple policies with multiple issue dates.
I spent an hour trying to figure it out myself with the options in Custom Reports, and finally called the RT help desk and spoke to Eric, who tried to set up a customized list and it still pulled every policy.
So, I have to go to Excel and manually delete the polices that were not issued in that specific month. My list went from 47 contacts pulled that have a issue date of November to 119 policies when I exported to Excel. I had to manually delete 72 lines of information to get down to what I really needed to do my job. Very time consuming and open to human error if I delte the wrong policy.!
If someone could look into this, I'd be much more efficient at my job! Thank you! CGL

Need to be able to plug in dates in a certain time period and pull a report for those dates. Example: I want a report to let me know to run an illustration on the anniversary date of the life insurance policy - possibly on a monthly basis. Run a report for all clients that had a policy issued in the month of January.
