Activities by Contact Report Should Have a Category Filter
My firm categorizes all clients via "category" - to develop appropriate service models for each client. It would be massively helpful for us to view all clients who have "schedule meeting tasks" (under the custom "schedule meeting" template that we've created), during a certain timeframe, AND to be able to filter that report by client category. I know this must be a fairly easy addition as it is in essence, just the inverse of the "Contacts with no upcoming activities" report.
The "contacts with no upcoming activities" report allows RT users to filter by activity type, timeframe, AND the category of the clients. So if we want to view for example, all "A" clients who DON'T have a schedule meeting task for the next 12 months to show up, it produces that report.
All we want is to be able to view the opposite. For example, all A clients that DO have a schedule meeting task for Q1 of the year. That way we know who we're meeting with and who we should spend time preparing for.
This change should be fairly simple - this would be so much simpler than creating custom reports, and pulling everything to excel every time we want to view a list of a certain category's meeting schedule for a certain timeframe. Really hope we can garner enough votes to make this happen!
