It's been 4+ years. Let's make this happen.

This is critical for us. We are considering switching to Wealthbox because of issues like this. We are trying to streamline things in our office - the idea of Workflows is perfect for this, but missing features like this are making it harder, not easier.

It would be very useful to be able to add documents to a step in the Workflow process. This would assist our staff in knowing what questions to ask when opening a new account by having the document within the workflow task.

This is a critical addition to workflows. There is the ability to add linked documents, accounts, notes and contacts in activities but not workflows which does not make sense to me. These suggestions go back to 2020. Progress would be appreciated to make workflows useful.

I would expand upon this idea to include all of the features available in activities - linked documents, accounts, notes and contacts. The ability to add each at the start of a workflow would make workflows more efficient.

Please consider adding function. The option to add a document already in the Document section of the profile as well as an active document that is being modified!!!

This is critical to be able to do this from a compliance standpoint.

Our workaround for this is to paste a link to a file on our server into step notes. However, this is less than ideal, since that file can later be altered and still linked to that permanent record in step notes. Not ideal.

I agree - This would be a gerat addition. We can link documents to Activities, why not have the same feature for Tasks in a workflow?

The ability to link documents to a workflow step or task that doesn't have an URL.

I believe one feature that would transform Workflows into an even greater Redtail tool would be being able to upload/store documents and/or other resource/source/artifact files into individual Workflow Tasks. This added feature would, in my opinion, make a Workflow way more of a hub for office activities. If a specific document/file is in fact needed for a Task or is the product of a Task upon completion, being able to add it to a Task or, more broadly, a Step makes sense.

Workflows often require documents associated with Steps or Tasks.

If a workflow is to save time and track completion, attachments are often necessary. To force retrieval from another CRM function is wasted time.

I am in favor of this idea. It would be great to be able to attack a doc to the workflow while I process. That way anyone who has tasks can refer to it. It's sort of useless attaching it after the workflow is completed.

When will there be a timeline for this feature?

This is so critical to have the functionality of adding a document(s)/files to the workflow. I see that files can be added to the note, but it is so terrible critical to be able to have the document/form right inside the workflow for following up on a/c transfers and follow up activities, a/cs with problems, etc.
THIS OPTION FOR DOCUMENTS SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE IN THE WORKFLOW.

Please create the ability to attach documents.

We have just started using the workflows but are not able to attach spreadsheets like we can in activities. We need the spreadsheets as part of our compliance process and also to share with those on the workflow.

We really need this to happen

Link Workflow to Activity Templates so that you can see the task for the group, along with notifications and attaching supporting documents in workflow.
