Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedAdmin responded in 2020 yet no progress is made! This is a no-brainer - should be able to run a report showing the tag groups assigned to clients

An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedAny movement here????? It's been years and the account type report is still of NO USE if it's going to include closed accounts. What's the holdup. Redtail used to be much better about fixing issues - do you no longer care?
08/22/2023: Why has this post been awaiting Moderator Approval since February 6?
12-05-2023: EITHER APPROVE THIS POST OR DELETE IT! YOUR SERVICE HAS BEEN DISMAL AND I'M NOT SEEING ANY IMPROVEMENT! YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T GIVE A **** ABOUT THE USERS!!!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedAny movement here yet? I don't understand the delay - this feature is worthless if you continue to include closed accounts in the graphics and information. This should show only open accounts! Here we are a full 2 years beyond Redtail noting the issue is being discussed.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedI knew I shouldn't have checked the progress here - As of 7/14/21 it's now been 19 months since Redtail has noted the issue as received and in discussion yet I still show more than 37% of my accounts as "Other" and they are all closed accounts. Either fix the issue to exclude closed accounts (how hard can that be to add a filter?) or delete the screen as it continues to be useless!
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedHere we are some 10 months after a response and closed accounts still show in the account total on the AUM graph. WHY CAN'T YOU REMOVE CLOSED ACCOUNTS FROM THE TOTALS? This page is totally worthless as the information contained does not reflect actual holdings. We need some movement here!
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedNot sure what the lag here is - seems it would be simple to just filter out the closed accounts by default. I show "Other" representing 38.6% of my total accounts (305 "other" accounts) yet 100% of the accounts listed as "Other" are closed accounts. Why do we have something on the screen if it has absolutely no value whatsoever?
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedOK, so you've acknowledges this suggestion has been received but no urgency on fixing this issue. The account by type chart is absolutely useless as it currently stands as the chart is based on # of accounts and closed accounts are included. If you are not going to fix this graph, how about adding a graph based on account value so closed accounts are automatically eliminated as they have a $0 value.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedWhen viewing the Accounts Tab the pie chart for "Accounts by Type" includes the number of closed accounts in the totals. That makes no sense at all to include closed accounts. My chart shows 303 "Other" types for a total of 39.1% of my total accounts. However, when pulling a report of "Other" and filtering out "Closed" the number drops to 0. The chart should only show active open accounts.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedI agree - since the inclusion of accounts I have repaired the account type on all open accounts but the graph says I have 41.6% accounts noted as "Other". If I filter out closed accounts there are no "Other" accounts that are noted as Open. Why do closed accounts show up in the graph? It makes no sense. Closed accounts should be excluded by default.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedas of 10-15-2022 there are 1208 votes on this issue yet no movement! Why do we bother to provide feedback if they aren't going to listen?
An error occurred while saving the comment Chuck Vercellone commentedI am amazed that with Reg BI, Covid, and the myriad of federal regs that appear annually, improving the Client Review section would garner a higher level of urgency at Redtail. This category (as has the similar others) been on the list for some 5-10 years and the last notice posted from technology is 9-12 months ago. As we need to operate as fiduciaries (and the brokerage community is moving closer to that standard), we need better record keeping and processes to maintain our client relationships (and to provide CYA)!

You can easily create this in the UDF field - add a field for the current year RMD amount and a field for systematic Y/N
